@SHULZ021 Funny thing is that Casshern most likely inspired these characters, along with other classic Tatsunoko characters. Viewtiful Joe looks like a lot of them, and Megaman was said to be based on cartoon characters from the creator's youth. It's pretty clear Casshan was one of those.

Casshern came out in 1973, long before the 'White Ranger' came into existence, at least the White Ranger we know from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Even then, it came before Super Sentai even came into existence (SS came out in '75). He.... kind of looks like Speed Racer? Except he acts nothing like him. Story is also completely different. They're probably similar because surprise, they both originated from the same animation company.

I like how they've preserved a lot of the style in the original but roughened the edges and darkened it to the point where it looks almost completely abstract at times. It's pretty unique.
