If you were doing pure speed without getting Star Coins, probably but World 8 is pretty long & linear that 2-3 minutes is not possible.

Warp Zone stages were required for 100%.

45 segments is nothing when you compare it to Ucpro's Star Fox Adventures Speed run. That one is 100 segments long, only because it heavily abuses save warping.

I forgot my ds games at home when I went on vacation for 3 weeks(AMERIKA:D)

only this game was in the ds self

so I completed the game without getting ANY POWER UPS AND AS FEW COINS and I dare you to do it goes its almost imposible(and 3 weeks on route 66 is a looooong timeXD) my record = no power ups and 55 coins:)

so al mario pro's go and beat my record

isn't it faster to use koopa for first star coin at world 8-5?

@MrIvan97 I don't think so, I would have to slow down for a bit just to pick up a koopa shell and do some tricky jumps along the way, if I threw the shell at around 0:28 of tthe video, it will miss (bouncing off) the middle set of blocks if I threw it from a solid platform meaning I would have to do both a timed jump & a timed throw to get the first star coin.

The star power up increases your running speed (and get pass through enemies without any problems). The star coins are required for the 100% speed run.
