  • The fact that peaceful words between India and Pakistan gets more thumbs ups than all the negative comments means that a majority of people respect the music of BOTH COUNTRIES... Music has no border, so when it comes to Music, India and Pakistan shouldn't create angst...Why the hell can't the common Indian and Pakistani just get along!?!?!?!?

  • @imranqbaig1 You are talking like that you are a trained musician. You can find mistakes in compositions.

  • @ricket77 Sahi kaha dear . You are Indian but ye baat Pakis ko samjh nahin aati

  • when strings came to nepal to perform.... we all nepalese gave them our full fan support..and in interview they said that they didnt know they have huge fan following in nepal too.... actually strings, junnon and jal are really famous in nepal... let Rock music bless everyone

  • I love Coke Studio, but I didn't like the treatment on this song. They mostly stuck to the original rock rendition. It should have been infused with some sufi flavor, because the song has a dark and philosophical shade to it. The ending with the organ was not on at all. Seems like Rohail did not give this one enough time.

  • @piperatom I AGREED

  • it's nOX really a thUnder.........

  • it's nOX really a thUnder.........

  • Wow! in comparison to american or british pop. The comment sections are completely different. Filled with xenophobic drivel about whats better or worse. And here is talk about agreeing with differences and tolerance to it.

You got a british fan of this music here in me VPeaceV

  • @alihydr Here in Inida, 99% agrees with himanshuthegaur, rest are politicians and top executives, who did learn from Britishers, Divide and Rule :(

  • Are you kidding me right now? Why the heck would you dislike this? Like seriously?

  • I love STRINGS! their spiderman song still shakes me up whenever I listen! STRINGS ROCK!

  • Only Asian band to have a contact with Gibson, of course they are GOOD!

  • Hi, I am from Mumbai and let me tell you, you have no idea about the fan following of Pakistani music in India!! I love this coke studio show, try to follow it on Youtube!!!!

Its only Music and our culture which can bridge the gap made by the wounds of 1947!!

  • @Abhishek8720 wounds of 1947???? that's how u feel brother..... wounded! we are happy to have been separated from u. but now after separation, nothing should make us stay away from peace. two different things that can go hand in hand, peace and separation. mind it. No Pakistani is feeling sad abt "Separation"!!!

  • @abuzarhq @abuzarhq I am not sure if you actually got the meaning of my statement, I am in no way suggesting that Pakistani people are sad about partition(Although I am, and many of Indians are, but i am no one to suggest it as a general sentiment). What i said wounds, I meant the wounds of the violent partition, the bloodshed, and eventual hatred for each other, only music can cure it.

  • @Abhishek8720 U will find almost no commonality of cultures between India n Russia, or Pakistan n China or Pakistan and Iran or any other 2 friendly nations, yet friendship is there... it's commonality of interests that brings two nations close to each other n not culture.

as for ur Pak music following, I appreciate that fact. that will help reduce prejudice though.

  • @abuzarhq Yes commonality of interest, you said it yourself, isnt a common culture enough to have a commonality of interest?

I dont know whats your definition of Interest, and i am not talking of politics, we love cricket, so you, we love music, so do you, we have Taj mahal, you have lahore killa, 5000 yrs of common history and interests cannot be wiped out in 63 yrs of independent history. You have better relations with China and we with Russia, but its all political diplomacy, Not 4 common man

  • @Abhishek8720 isnt a common culture enough to have a commonality of interest? NO!

Peace is in our interest but it's is the terminal value.... it can neither be achieved in reality nor in thoughts if one nations cuts off the water supply of another no matter the people keep on liking each others movies n music. Culture is secondary or tertiary to establish commonality of interest n terminal peace. Harkatein theek honi chahye.

People around us on this link ain't gona like this discourse brother.

  • @abuzarhq @abuzarhq Issues are there on both sides, you need to get them resolved, we have common culture, and it can serve as a platform for peace. You talk of water not coming to your country,My city had blood flowing on 26 nov, and it was your country man who did it, but we hold no grudges against people of Pakistan, coz we dont want to generalize kasab with every Pakistani. Harkatein jab dono taraf se acchi hongi , tab haalat bhi acche ho jayenege....

    May peace be on us!

  • Man! This song just spurs up a feeling in you...its like not explainble, but its extraordinary!

  • wah ! how awesome channel is this, you created my friend. ONLY and ONLY music can unite human beings of different souls, beliefs and cultures. Good Souls like all of you can bring Change.......... Keep It up........... and Love Music

  • sick drummer

  • @shahthegreat1 his name is Qaiser a good friend of mine

    amazing drummer

  • thank god for music. for all this positivity and love. hugs to you all, pakistanis and indians alike.

  • It has been over 12 years since my first and only visit to Pakistan. I am an Indian but never felt different from a Pakistani. They treated me like another human even after knowing that i am from India. That is when i started listening to Pakistani Music and am still in love with it. Wish my first will never be my last.

    And,

May the borders be described in mere words and not a blood be shed anymore. AMEN!!

  • @saurabh493 we feel the same from india n their people....one love...respect...

  • @saurabh493 well said!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Wow saurabh really felt nice after reading your message , very well written brother proud of you

  • @saurabh493 we can not change the borders due to dirty politics... but we can make them irrelevent by human contacts and friendship.... may peace prevail over all of us !

  • heartwarming. amazingly soulful music. peace and love from India

  • It's good to see so many positive comments. The fact is that peace is in our hands. We have to stop our rulers on both sides from playing their politics game. In Pak, the army rules n doesn't want peace with India, or they will lose importance. Even in India, any and all Hindu-Muslim riots are engineered by politicians for their petty gains. Normal everyday people never come on the streets with guns n swords. All over India different creeds live in peace. N our biggest stars are all Khans!

  • we love you all......these politicians dont let us be 1..we are one....

  • i love pakistani singers...they hv this unique talent of creating beautiful music dt we appreciate all over in india..ibelieve they hv music in their blood...so i never hasitate to praise their talent...god bless them all n pakistan,... n god bless hindustan.may the glory of music unite us all together...for once and forever..!!!!

  • Im an Indian and i always love the bands from pakistan, i also play songs on guitar...performance is amazing..

  • in 80s and 90s music of indian bollywood was liked in pakistan now indians like pakistani music alot. Strings is very popular in India. Pakistan has also very brilliant artists, earlier sufi music and also now sufi music is liked in India but they have transformed from sufi to pop very well. Thanks strings for such great music! Sat Sri Akal!

  • Wow.. you guys made my day.. I wish we had more like you brothers and sisters.. Its kind of sick to read comments from misguided people from both sides on beautiful music. May the music unite as all.. Peace !

  • seriously thanx guys

we are also impressed by indain singers its a big list

mere jese bht se log aese hain jo kbhi countries per nahi sochtay ,,, we just think for humanity and unity...i hope sab log aese sochain.

ager khud 2 qadam agay berhtay hain tou apnay 7 walo ko peechay nahi chortay atleast aik qadam tou agay barha saktay hain aap log bhi apnay 7 waloo ko

  • I am from India and even though politicians and the armed forces and global political expediency make us appear as enemies... I firmly believe that the people on the street especially the poets and musicians and artists belong to a family that transcends all this low thinking and we meet at a higher level...

How do I get this music... I love the music of Arif Lohar, Mishaa and so many others is this music available in India and where can I get it???

  • m from Bharat......... but have become a great fan of Coke studio.....just love each and every band that plays on this studio....peace :)

  • its a fabulous song guys.....

  • music alone can unite pakistan and india.

  • Yeah this is where all religions lay flat - the music from the hearttouching the souls - all grt singers shoul ddeclare themselves to be from one religion - the one with no name but with one purpose to bring the creativity to life and be the co-creaters with the Lord .............................. Yeh Hi Maqsad ho jisko bhi mile yeh Zindganeeee

  • I am a great fan of Strings from India. Infact, I love Pakistani music, their copyrighted soft rock is amazing and the voice quality of singers is awesome. If anyone ever get to meet Strings, tell them they have their biggest fan in India and not anywhere else in the world. Also, tell them MikeTest from India said "Howdy".

  • coke studio rocks......luv frm india

  • i knew both country people love to live in peace.but our politicians and diplomats are fighting for their own cause and insentives.

its all due to our diplomats.

  • Sheraz bhai...It is up to our generation to make sure India and Pakistan never fight again...If we stop fighting and start trading we will make each other very prosperous...But if we stop fighting then we will put our politicians and your army out of business :) ... that is the challange... these people want to stick to power and innocent soldiers keep dying for nothing...

  • Now...Thats call flawless singin..

  • One of the worst performance ever by Strings. I am very disappointed.

  • @aitebar Its an awesome performance with a new take on the same song while staying in tune, then again you have the right to your opinion. FYI your opinion sucks donkey balls

  • hi guys.. i'm Nikhil from New Delhi.. i just wanna say dat Coke Studio rocks big time!! all we guys here in India absolutely love ur music.. Strings and Junoon are as big in India as dey are in Pakistan.. I, personally, have played dis song and Garaj Baras on stage a lot of times.. Make music guys, not war.. let's spread peace through the most pure form of love..!!! MUSIC!!!!!!!!!

  • @nikhilkant ,Totally agree with you Nikhil,LOVE for all, spread love and peace, and our movies and music are one way to do it,love you all in India and pakistan.

  • Too many people like me in India! In fact the young people are all for peace. Many of my friends went to Pakistan during an Indo-Pak cricket tournament some years ago. They were shown lots of friendship and love wherever they went, even though India beat Pak 5-0. That made no difference. And we realised that the people have no hatred. Personally I feel that your Army rules your country, and it feels it will not have any importance left if India and Pak become friends. What do you think?

  • Strings rulez :)

  • Hi...I'm Himanshu...I'm from Delhi...and I just want to say all of us here simply love Stings...also Junoon, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Fuzon, Shafqat Ali, Atif Aslam and even Nazia Hassan!...and Coke Studios rocks!...Pakistanis love our movies, we love your music! Peace be with you, and with us all!

  • Its so ironic to see that Pakistan is really good in something, which is looked down upon in their country - Music!!! Btw,that was compliment to you Pakistani guys out there....Rock on!!!

    Baqar,from India.

  • @alihydr It's really good to see pakistanis & indians Praising each other for their real talents. That's what the music is meant for. We have had enough fights in 65, 71, Kargil and cricket grounds. It never made me stop loving indians as a pakistani. Long live Pakistan. HAIL INDIA.

  • @alihydr hwy.. India LOVES pakistan dude! the governments hate each other... but INDIA LOVES PAKISTAN for its WONDERFUL MIND BLOWING music! spread this word across pakistan... we will always love you! cos at the end of the day, we're all brothers :-)

  • @alihydr Ther r many more ppl with the same thought process..trust me..;)

  • @alihydr My friend.. i cant wait for season 4.. and we do LOVE YOUR music.. It simply is the best!. These tough times between our nations.. calls for us humble folk to stand together.. and I really appreciate that your support is with us all. Peace be with You!

  • @alihydr There's numerous people like you and many like him. War and cultural divides are merely tools of politicians to thrive and rule over masses. May one day people wake up and see that. May one day, peace prevails. Thanks for posting the video.
