  • Damn, Lucy sure got crazy over Wayne, didn't she?

  • Excellent video clip

  • does anyone know what song this is?

  • @muffinhead22101 It's called "Waiting for the Robert E. Lee".

  • what episode is this...whats it called?

  • Where were they hiding the brass section? LOL!

  • Has anyone noticed that wayne's banjo was the only one with strings in it?

  • I saw Wayne Newton at the Dauville hotel in Miami April 1968. I was 13 years old. I had a choice: Dianna Ross and the Supremes or Wayne Newton. I chose Wayne. He was held over to finish his live album. I am glad I made that choice! He went through the orchestra pit and played all the instruments! He really is Mr. entertainment!

  • The style & the performance is a little dated, but does anyone notice that "Big Lucy" & "Little Lucie" are like mirror images in the show - no doubt that Momma made sure that her daughter got her best training from the PRO! (I can picture the rehearsals)! Awesome training-ground for a future performer!

  • This is the kind of stuff Bush and Cheney watch.

  • Sad to say, Wayne sounds terrible now... he has lost his voice. Saw him last night at the Tropicana.

  • vegas787 - Wayne sounds terrrble now? Shame on him! How dare he sing LIVE. He should take a tip from B.Spears and some of those "fake LIP-SYNCHING so-called performers that couldn't hit a LIVE note if there life depended on it. _NOT!

  • I have seen Wayne many times at the Trop and I wholeheartedly disagree with you - he is one of the best - get with it - do you expect him to sound the same at 60 when this clip is over 40 years old - everyone changes - or are you special????>

  • EJMAP... Go see him, don't take my word for it!.. I enjoyed the nostalgia and all the video clips of him singing with Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. great back up singers and his six piece orchastra. But wow, it's time for him to retire..

  • This episode is sooooooooooooo dated!

Lucille Ball was surely a slave to her obligation to CBS. I suspect , the money (millions) she got were just too good to say no to.

  • I think so she knew how to play the ukulele

  • Marcia Brady would go ga-ga seeing Desi Arnaz Jr. on the drums!

  • Ohhhh gosh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is my favorite line. Did Lucy really ever played an instrument in real life? I knew on TV she played to Saxophone and on this clip she plays the guitar.

  • Almost, Wayne Newton- The American Idol of 1965!!!

  • Wayne Newton - The next American Idol!
