Craig cracks me up, the way he's talking to John Paul at the start :') I love them together, but Craig turns into a diiiick when he starts to fancy John Paul, I know it's cos he's 'scared of his feelings' etc etc, but i think he turns aggressive and selfish. it's nice to see him like this again.

It really annoys me that people see love between John Paul and Craig at this stage. JP is noy gay yet, he hasn`t even thought about the possibility of him liking boys! All he knows is that he doesn`t have the feeling he`s supposed to have for Hannah, that`s it! :)

Believe me, I`m the biggest McDean fan, but right now, neither of them have though about yhe possibility of being McDean :P

The lack of enthusiasm from John Paul about him and hannah is painful to watch. The thing is hannah know she is too full on with JP but she can't seem to rein it in.

On the one hand I wish JP had been stronger regarding hannah but in some ways you can see why he just gave in/kept trying. And he did really grow to like hannah and that is why in the end they got a friendship out of it all. Plus I don't believe hannah was really in love with JP. It was more about her wanting to feel wanted/special

I bet JP's thinking during this talk with Craig, "Yes, I really like you, but you're still such an idiot." The love he has for Craig - platonic AND romantic - was unconditional; it's obvious in scenes like this that despite a few obvious faults, he still cares for him.

Hannah is so adorable, even when she's clingy. I can see why JP wanted a bit of breathing-space, so it's very realistic.

This was probably the first ep that got me thinking, 'Hm, he's probably gay.'

Anyway I think it's a really strong thing of JP to break up whit her, when I was in a relationship whit a guy I didn't really feel anything for (coinsidentally he was also a very clingy person...) and that I felt pressured in to, I keept avoiding him for over a month until I eventually broke upo whit him over the phone...so JP has a lot mor courage than I've got

I don't know anything about kieron yet, because I just started to get into the McDean story, but now that I've seen that later JP is getting together with Hannah again I have to agree that he is somewhat inconsiderate towards other people's feelings.

i find him very selfish at times, but aren't most characters at some point selfish anyway? i know that there are maybe two people on the show who aren't selfish at times (depending on what i haven't seen)- russ(??) and max.

Saw your comment and even though it's over a year old I had to responsed.

You are quite wrong about hannah.Yes she was most definitely too clingy with JP but that is cos she was trying to make something happen that wasn't there. With the boyfriends after John Paul she wasn't this bad and was the one that broke it off with most of them apart from justin.

Plus we should see that JP was her first proper boyfriend. The good thing is she did learn from it.
