  • amazing

  • what gauge wire?

  • @AWESOMETMAN1 Why would it matter???? use any size

  • Buen video

  • can i use a simple magnet instead of a neodymium magnet?

  • Please please HELP me anybody do you need that kind of magnet

  • прикольно

  • Can you step up to bigger battery

  • Guys, It really works. Try it.

  • Muy interesante!!!

  • watch my video

  • buy here-> etsy(dot)me/nSXiU0

  • hey dude this is creative. Nice video andd great idea.

  • How long does it go for? Until the battery runs out? How long is that? :P

  • Will any magnet work.

  • @shooter0505

i doubt it. it most likely wouldnt work.

  • @shooter0505 as long as its powerful

  • Does any one know if it matters what side of the battery you can put the magnets on?

  • Does it HAVE to be AA?

  • @Phdflops nope, aaa or any other works

  • what do i do if i dont have a neodyum magnet

  • @Capoknin buy one :P

  • why do i always get electrified when attempting this???

  • How did you bend The Wires Like Thatt! ?? Pleasee Help me

  • @chukicadeso u bend them.....

  • dose it have to be a copper wire?

  • @Musicman6804 Yes. Majority use of electricity.

  • any magnets works I did it with ferrite

  • me gusta

  • What drives the motor, the power of the current or the power of the magnet? I have 2 circular neodynium magnets that about 3 in" across and 2 in" thick.

  • FUCKING MAGNETSSSSSSSSSSS

  • you can buy a kit here bit . ly / homopolar

  • If anyone's trying to do this and doesn't have access to a neodymium magnet, a fairly strong circular magnet with tin foil wrapped around it will have the same effect. The tinfoil provides the conductivity a regular magnet doesn't have. It does need to be circular though, and the tinfoil needs to be wrapped rather smoothly so that the copper wire can make contact and spin around it without too much interference.

  • can you do this with rare earth magnets, or do you have to use neodymium?

  • @Gorshin07 Neodymium is a rare earth magnet. You can do this with any permanent magnet.

  • Fuckin' magnets, how do they work?

  • lol homopolar

  • i'm homopolar

  • I love science and engineering!

  • how long till the battery dies?

  • Why does it spin to the right?

  • @sutekhseth

    Right hand rule

  • @cyberj88 Thumbs up in the direction of current.

  • @robofunk63 Ah, you see you're asking for a thumbs down since current goes + > -

  • @cyberj88 lefthand, this is the motor effect.

  • @cyberj88 Fuck that, it's obvious lefties are superior. Since I'm both, I'm obviously 3₃ better than you at existing.

AMBIDEXTROUS FOR LIFE! Bitches love Ambi's.

  • @xRawlins LOL electronics fail

  • so get like a hangar right to use it as a wire?

  • wouldnt the temperature get incredibly high? so this is probably not the best solution for a fan that should cool the device

  • awesome, does the the magnet need to be round

  • They are magnetic metals from the rare earth family in the periodic table

  • "homo" polar

  • Does it work with any tipe of magnet or only with neodymium magnet?

  • bei mir geht das nicht warum

  • how long does that spin before the battery dies? are we talking hours? days? months?

  • ok this is cool. but who knows the theory behind how this works? and also would it be possible to recharge the battery by spinning it manually the other way?

  • Where did you get that magnet???

  • @BretHardy94 You should be able to find those at a local hardware store. They are called earth magnets.

  • Free Energy is real but the coverup is strong, if you are interested in a REAL free energy machine then just search for the LT MAGNET MOTOR in the youtube video search , it is probably the ONLY working magnet motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

  • @transfusablepng I also heard that eating food is just a conspiracy. You can just drink water and live forever. You don't even need to buy water. Just drink your own piss.

  • does it have to be neodym magnet?

  • O w pizdu idę zrobić sobie kręciołka xD

  • why not connect this to a generator and return the energy to the rechargeable AA then you got perpetual motion.

  • @sweetkungfoo it would lose power eventually

  • cool...

  • i don't understand the point though, just for fun?

  • coool

  • @TheChipmunkZongs hehe so imature! but so funny...

  • can you use solder wire by any chance??

  • Does it absolutely need to be a Neodymium magnet? or could it be those magnets found on a refrigerator? If it HAS to be one, where can I find a magnet like this in a local store?

  • the wire would stay on if you put a small dent at the top :D

  • how the hell did you bind the wire in such a perfect shape? i'm tring this and it's like to bend a worm alive, il keep twisting and it lacks of balace.

Any suggestion about how to obtain that figure?

  • Is this a more efficient method of converting electrical to mechanical energy than current electric motor designs (separate coils, multiple magnets)

  • then cout the battery with honey and leave it near a beehive >:) those bees never knew what hit 'em! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

  • where can u get the magnet and how much it costs?

  • hahaha "homo"

  • @TheChipmunkZongs Do you also get amused each time you drink a glass of milk too?

  • @Nomoreidsleft well if it has a funny straw then yes

  • waaaaaaaaaa!! q vakano!!

  • does it have to be copper wire? im trying to use a spirial notebook wire...wont work yet

  • @panda100123 If you use a wire that is attracted to the magnet, it's harder for it to turn. (or nearly impossible) That's why he uses copper. Aluminum should work too.

  • I just orderd the magnets. It's gonna be coo

  • hehe... the title said homo lol

  • Can you use any other wire?

  • attach a propeller and you can make a fan

  • how long will it run off the battery?

  • @spittheproper I think, it should run for quite a longer time like for 5 hours. Because this battery is capable of powering some not big but good size toys and that lasts for quite long (when installed with one more).

Whereas here, it is only small wire with very small mass which needs very less energy to rotate. That is why it should last longer.

  • man ive been trying this for 2 days straight for my physics classroom...i got the copper wire and the battery..i also got a black magnet..it's not made of iron or neodymium..the system has some force and the copper wire can barely move around 2 times veery slow..what's the problem? i looked in all shops for a magnet but didnt find one..

  • @FactoryGaming has to be reare earth (neodymium) magnet

  • @itookapissinyourtea umm i think probably due to the only 10 gram weight..

  • its cool

  • How great this is.

I'm gonna get the pieces and try it. SWEET !!!!

  • sweet!

  • can you store this energy and create it into energy that will power some thing please right me back or make a video on how if you can

  • Yes. It's called a battery. AA should be more than capable of holding that energy.

  • does this ONLY work with copper wire ?

  • @XPepsiColaX Not only, try use one copper wire - it's works :)

  • @rbkriderz no, i mean can i do it with a paper clip. (that conducts electricity)

  • @XPepsiColaX no because copper isnt magnetic but it acts differantly when power is applyed sort of semi magnetic when power is applyed or at least thats what i thought

  • Dude all these inventions are wicked awesome

  • So... if I do this over night my batteries should be fully charged? Right?

  • No... It takes electrycity to work, it doesnt make it.

  • you can just use a paper clip correct?

  • okay when i have a school project i am doing this.

  • made these yesterday at school

  • Amazing

  • would this rotate the other way round if placed in the opposite hemisphere?

  • Now we know how the Alien SpaceCraft function.

  • LOL LOL

  • That is awesome.....5 STARS

  • that was pretty cooupl man keep the good work up

  • I did the same experience with exactely the same material, including a real neodymium magnet but the wire didn't spin with the same strenght as your experience.

  • Using a much larger more complex version of this... could u use like a huge battery type thing... a giant magnet.. but copper wire or stronger into a fan and make it work?

  • And im doing for science project at school :P

  • I don't know, I only tried this experiment once with only the basic material.

  • yes but its really inefficient

  • How are you doing? I do not want to start spinning

  • Офигенно!и делается за 5 минут!Автор молодчина

  • Man I hate to ask stupid questions...but how does this thing work? I suppose there are opposing magnetic fields somewhere but....

  • how long does it last ?

  • until the battery goes dead

  • well i kinda figured but how much is that ?

    1h ... 2h ?

  • about 25 min for a D size

  • ok then thx

  • aw i wish i had some copper wire...ill just make one tomorrow in lab...

  • how big does the magnet have to be (in diameter or radius)?

  • is the special magnet necessary or can you use any normal magnet?

  • My roommate and I built one of these after watching the video. Oh, the things we do to get out of doing homework.

  • i reccomend making a dent in the positive terminal.

  • how is it that easy >.>

i fail at making one lol

  • I dont have little magnet + i dont have copper thing

  • get them out of old/ broken aplliences o.0....thats what i do when i dont have

  • I fixed it, and it works now :)

  • use this for a toy model cars motor

  • lol ima ganna ring it too class watch it blow up lloll

  • Where can I find this neodymium magnets? thank you.

I'm looking for a motor to run a carousel, anyone, please help!!!

  • you can order them at Edmund Scientific, if you don't get the magazine then go to their website, one of them costs like $2.50

  • Comment removed

  • LOL !!

  • is it possible to make this motor power up something?

  • i wanted to make it power a model plane engine.

  • It's too inefficient for any real use.

  • Yes, but that wouldn't make logical sense. Remember that this is just a motor powered by a battery. What you're suggesting is to connect a battery powered motor to a generator to create electricity. Why not simply use the battery for a power source?

  • maybe using the battery would create MORE power.

  • @smb1985 when we made battery, we use electricity to make it. If we use battery to power the generator, we just wasting electricity. As in the process of making battery some eletricity are loss , even in the process of making the motor spin by a battery electricity are loss too. so it's inefficient and in effective to do so

  • @smb1985 they sell electric powed generaters so some dumb ass buys them how ever your wasteing power doing it lol

  • @smb1985 because that would make sense... Making sense would be inconsistent for a dumbass.

  • @smb1985 LMAOO!!!! this comment made me laugh!! thank you :D

  • @smb1985 Actually, by removing the battery and turning the wire in the opposite direction, you generate power.

  • I hurt my hand onthe wire because it got hot

  • wicked lol

  • Cool!Thanks!

  • nice, i too have this !

    :D

    antibooringmachine :D

  • do you have to use neodymium magnets

  • HAHA! xD

  • That is a pretty clever way to set up the motor. All my magnetic motors were much more complicated (and more difficult to set up). I'm definitely going to try this sometime soon. I just need to find my magnets...

  • lol this is cool

  • Does the wire have to be touching the magnet on the bottom?

  • At least some of the time. Without a current the wire will not be pushed to spin. This doesn't need to be constant to make it spin as you will have inertia but I suppose the more constant the contact the faster it will spin

  • yes

  • yes

  • AMAZING !

  • Very interesting, and a well presented demo. I would think that the design must use quite a bit of current - is that right? I'll find out soon for myself. I have ordered some of these magnets.

    Regards

  • I wish I had copper wire and a neodymium magnet... :(

    Or a Brain Box.

  • I figured it out and i'm going to let you all fail! SUCKERS!

  • It's Ricketts in the video

  • This physics assignment is completely useless...no point!

  • Chea sucks monkey doodle

  • which dennis u fukin faggot!!

  • can you use a paper clip instead of copper wire

  • btw every go to sexirilla(.)com

    ur welcome john =]] LOL
