This is alright. I'd love to see you do some more traditional Nanigo with it though. You're going some cool 6/8 rock stuff but that's not really the style Igoe intended this to be played in. Nice take on the track though. Solid playing.

This is the style of Nanigo that is most popular among young American drummers. I agree though, I do like the traditional way a lot too. Never really gave much thought to posting one tune played in different ways. Maybe I will post the more traditional Nanigo for this as well. I learn Tommy's grooves but when I play them, I really enjoy doing my OWN interpretation so that is what I do. As for it being "alright", I think I will weigh that against the other reviews to determine that.
