  • I don't get it...you made an audio of the soundtrack then years later you added video and posted it here? Is the music here from the SNES version? Very nice btw

  • @jazzmunky Uh, no......this is the old recording I did of the SNES version of this theme, and I put it to video. More recently, I completely re-recorded the theme and that one is on my channel too, which I think came out better than this one.

  • You should remix all the levels and release them on a CD.

Sadly...when I see the CD, I'd be obliged to say:

"I'd by that for a dollar!"

Which is probably a bit brutal for you...

  • nothing says "friendship" like getting someone to play this game with you for a night and finally winning.

100 continues later. at 1AM in the morning.

  • THE RUNNING MAN!

  • @Tryzon EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING! ARNOLD ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • @thefastesrcman Clearly we were seperated at birth.

  • @Tryzon lol

  • @Tryzon It is believed that this game was inspired by the Running Man. And some quotes are definitely movie references. Like the infamous "I'd buy that for a dollar!" from the first Robocop film.

  • @MDthornton83 I'm aware of these things, being a big fan of all the movies you just mentioned. I'd also call that phrase famous rather than infamous, since it's well-known for being good as opposed to bad, if you get my meaning. At any rate, I think we can all agree that Smash TV is all kinds of awesome.

  • @Tryzon Agreed. I used to play this game a lot back then.

  • "Turtle chunks needed"

  • Was anyone else actually more surprised by how well the people in this video PLAYED?

  • Smash tv came out in 1990 not 99 =S...

  • @S67Snail Yes, I know, but the game is set in the "futuristic" 1999, so when I say it hasn't aged well since 1999, I mean that ever since 1999, 1999 is no longer the future.

  • @wlmmn ah I see, I do like looking at these older games and they set "futuristic" dates like 2005 etc etc and its like >.< people had some high expectations of humanity in those days XD

  • "I'd buy that for a dollar!"

  • could you post a link to this metal version?

  • Ahh remember when life was like this back in 1999? I'm glad I survived the total carnage.
