2600 Missle Command and Berzerk were great ports but Pac Man and Asteroids were poor even for 2600 standards. Later a Ms PAcman came out that was really good.

@Hdogskater Disagree. 2600 asteroids was a flickering blocky colorful mess. Vectrex is the only that could have done it at the time but Atari had all the licenses and sadly better systems did not do it.

Now Pacman could have been great on 2600 as was proved a few yrs later by the awesome PacMAn Jr release.

I love the 2600 and still play it to this day but not all the games were great even for that time.

My mom loved this game when she was a kid. She rolled the scores and she's proud of it. That means she got to 999,999 then rolled it back down to 0 with another asteroid explosion.

Did she happen to use the "hunting" and "lurking" tricks? That's what I loved about this version and the 7800 version. You could STILL use the arcade version's tricks at home.
