by being real picky about the file size of each wad i was capping my internal flash mem most likly (I tend to use it all up and still feel i need more space)
get a 2gig sd card then transfer the saves you use THE LEAST to the 2gig SD you can save a ton of savefiles on a sd card ;)I only keep saves that i am using activly on my internal memory ;)
Hey man, how do you have so many N64 Channels on the wii, i installed about 3 (Zelda OoT, Mario 64, Sin and Punishment) plus, Lost Winds, 2 Snes games (MMX and DKC2) and last, Mario from Nes, and i didnt have any space left! i deleted the Snes games (i have the emulator afterall) but! i installed Midnight Club and BUM there's no space left, hell! i want to have lots of games in the channels T_T
ROFLMAO i was to high for the super market or very excited one of the two! but yes thats right and thanks for pointing that out i fixed it ;) D D D vetta hahahaha
Thanks for your helpful video! For the SNES roms, how did you get them to read out in alphabetical order? When I loaded the roms onto my SD Card, after I booted the Snes9x emulator, my Roms were in all kinds of crazy random order, but I noticed yours were nice and alphabetical. Is this some kind of setting you had to choose? Thanks again!
yes it does! thats all i have running here is a zelda save exploit that allows me to boot these files from my SD card IN/on onboard THE WII
(in the front of your console there is a small memory card slot under where you insert your disc this is where you will find your SD card slot ;) all files are being stored on a 1 gig SD ;)
yes and you have to BACK UP your existing data.bin containing the original save data before hand if you are worried about that...(use a PC and a SDcard reader to put files on the SD as well as to exrtact and backup existing data
the emulator will hold a LIMITLESS amout of roms you can fit around 900 roms on a 1gig sd card from what i have been told i personally dont own 900 roms but only around 80 roms so thats why i only have that many on my stick ;)
AND IT DOES SAVE GAMES NOW
ABOUT THE GAMEBOY/COLOR EMULATOR...
THE ROMS CAN BE PLACED IN ANY FOLDER i call min RIN you will use a file browser (as you can see) to access your games but because its very new the GBC does support save files yet or state save so be patient..
also keep in mind if you were a big cartridge collector thats in your favor because YOU CAN ONLY LEGALLY USE ROMS YOU OWN ;) i OWN all those and as you can PLAINLY SEE i support Virtual Console STILL i own MORE VC GAMES THAN THE WII's INTERNAL MEMORY CAN HOLD (it only holds 512 internal mem) so i can BARLEY fit my N64 games no less all40 or 50 VC purchases ive made so far ;) I GOT CRUSIN USA AFTER POSTING THIS LAST NIGHT! :P
just make a folder in the root called ROMS and MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE NEW SNESGX FRONT LOAD version get it from Tehskeen or theplayground-uk
(the root is another name for the first folder that pops up when you plug it into your usb)SO just use a PC card reader plug it in with your SD inserted then go to my computer open your SD card and create a new folder call it ROMS place your UNZIPPED and UNCOMPRESSED roms in this folder and your emu will see them (SDcard reader15$ at walmart btw)
or a converter for your xbox or ps2 controller ;) I USE A TILT SENSITIVE PS2 controller for my VC games (gr8 for racing and starfox) i got the controller for 20$ at best buy its called the REACT TILT SENSE CONTROLLER (it will have a holographic airplane in a blue box and is at ALL walmarts and best buy stores!) the converter is about 10$ at walmart in the electronics section ;) ONE converter lets you convert you ps2 controller to XBOX,GC,OR YOUR PC! comes with drivers disk and all that!

I plan on doing this but is the aspect ratio locked on the emulators or can you change it? To make GBA games larger or something

chaos32 3 years ago
There are verions that use the classic controller or wiimote but atm it's mainly playable with your gc controller

Hehe, this is the only emulator I grabbed, too. :D Would you happen to know if there's a GBA one yet, though?

it does support the wii's native SD slot right? if not i'm screwed :P
