  • Hi !! I have this Skywatcher model of MakCass 180mm, the golden one.

thinking of buying Orion SkyView Pro mount for it, would it be ok on that compared to the famous SkyWatcher HEQ5? the SVP is planned to be used now for visual, provisioned for astrophotography later in the future.

  • FOR ASTONISHING FACTS ABOUT PLANETS, JUST TYPE IN THE BOX:

    Quran and Science

    SEVEN PARTS!

  • @gulfland The Quran is a book of fairy tales. Astronomers are interested in science, not silly stories!

  • @gulfland No such thing as God I'm afraid. Take your preaching elsewhere. This is a video for astronomy.

  • nice, would be pretty cool to see it zoom all the way out and back in again :D not sure if thats possible or not though haha

  • can you please make a closer look of the sun? how big is the spot?

  • btw this week and the next 6 weeks jupiter is i think south looking up i think i guess thats where my teacher told me

  • is that what you would see at the eyepiece?

  • Wow, very nice!!!

  • nice one

  • Hi,

I observed jupiter for more than three years but never had any good details with a high power eyepiece always robbish atmosphere and very low.

  • Hello mate, how high was jupiter in the sky

during this video and what magnification did u

use? Did you stack it to get a last pic if so could u send it to me.

  • Hi,

very nice clip a lot of details despite it's black and white, I am glad that the skywatcher deliver excellent quality because I am about to purchase one that will fit nicely on my NEQ6.

    Cheers

  • @truemartian1

    Hi there,

Trust me, you won't regreat ;)

The lunar/planetrary performance of this scope is something you must see for yourself to believe...I've just purchased a William Optics binoviewer and this combo produced the most stunnig jupiter and lunar observations ever, the views are high contrast and sharply difined, now about the long cool down times, give it at leas two hours for proper coll down and it will achieve it's maximum performance.

    cheers from Portugal,

  • @truemartian1 All my SkyWatcher Telescopes are SUPERB KNOCKOUT RESOLUTIONS AND ULTRA-HIGH CONTRAST TELESCOPES SUPERB-SKYWATCHERS++++!!!!

  • Very very nice.
