  • Hey, I'm looking for an instrumental funk-tune like this one, but I have no idea the name of the song.

Type in "Patrice Oneal The Black Phillip Show (05/17/2008)" into the youtube bar and on either video (like 2 hours long) then you'll see my comment linking the start of the music. I figured it was similar so someone here might know what it is, please and thanks.

  • Who was the drummer on this song? I heard he died.

  • @eldercurt53 - It was Robbie McIntosh. He was simply way ahead of his time in what he played and HOW he played it. I remember Jim Mullen hipping me to Robbie, as he played with him very briefly in Brian Auger's band.

As a bit of trivia, Robbie was the son of American actor, Bonar Colleano, from a 'liaison' Bonar had with a certain Scottish lady whilst filming here in 1949!

  • @alhudson SOME OF THE BADDEST ASS WHITE BOYS TO DATE GIT DOWN MOTHERFUCKERS

  • I will always thank my dad for raising me with 70s music I fuckin love it. I like that this song appears in Superman 2 and Iron Man 2.
