@ComplicatedTortoise I know what you mean but,if you look at it the other way around,blank would have made it out alive if it wasn't for zidane almost getting captured,so he pretty much sacrficed himself to save zidane cause he knew zidane is MUCH smarter and he would lead the others to the next journey, plus blank is not a main character,there would be no use for him any way cause you get better characters later on in the game like "Amarant" who is 10x better then blank. : )

It would've been cooler if we got so see him a little more throughout the game, but the idiot went and got himself petrified. The leader of their group comes later in the disc and has umm... I think it was elixir? I havent played this game since I was in year 8 but yeah. The big fat leader guy comes and pours that liquid thing on him and then he gets free.
