Yes there is Chinese Democracy I know, however I do not think that it is "Axl's best vocal abilities." Slash has been doing collaboration with many famous musicians, and while some people think this is selling out, I am happy for him that he is out there showing he still has something to offer. Also I don't know if you have heard, but slash is currently making his new solo album which will include songs with a lot of people he has worked with in the past.

Chinese Democracy is some of Axl's best work, the vocal range on the album is incredible. Slash was once my guitar hero, but after he left GNR, and joined VR and did nothing spectacular (all in my opinion) I lost interest and waited for Axl to bring something great out. Although it was a long wait, Im glad I did wait, I love the new album :)

None of the GNR guys played exactly like they did on the studio version. Slash was a prime example, he's well known for his shitty live performances.

Axl has a great voice now, and if you'd take the time to watch some of the 2006 shows, you'd know. Actually no, go to a concert, I did and he was great.

Mark Canter ( Slash and Axl's friend, the guy who wrote Reckless Road ) said a week ago that Slash did go to Axl's house and spoke with Beta but indeed called Duff spineless because he was completely intoxicated and because Perla hated Duff and the band at the time and insisted that Slash apologizes to Axl.

Finally he also said that the Gnr name thingie was signed 2 years prior to breakup so it wasn't the main reason for it as Slash suggested in his book.

He is legendary, of course. He was apart of one of the greatest bands of the 90s, but look how poorly his new band's albums sell, Chinese Democracy sold more than they have in it's first few months. Slash was great, but hasnt progressed at all since GNR, sadly.

Contraband was ok, Chinese Dem is much better. Slash's style has remained average since GNR. And yeah meant validate lol. the word "fuck" doesnt emphasise your point, it actually makes you look like you're getting angry and desperate, which may not be the case but that's how it would be interpreted.

Slash's druggy/alcoholic lifestyle and dodgy live playing was what made Axl the controlling person he was. After having to give steven the boot, he was probably cautious.

John lennon had a good carrear after the beatles. The other beatles too, not as good as Johns, but good. Let see if Axl also. If  is Axl or truly GnR, dosent matter, because 17 year after, a change in style is mandatory. We should not expect an 80s music in the 2Ks. Todays Metallica doesnt sound like 17 years ago in the 80s.
