I've just been reading about how Les Dawson apparently saw Sid James' ghost in the dressing room of the Sunderland Empire where Sid died, and fed in horror vowing never to return and never having spoke about wat he said was 'The most horrifying experienceof his life' - Weird to see both Sid and Les here together!!!

I wonder what happened...

I wish I have video taped all these classic comedy shows from Granada Plus, but sadly the channel is gone, and has made room for utter crap.

They also screened The Comedians..Wheeltappers..and early Coronation Street.

There is room for a channel like this for old shows of all kinds.

Ray Martine was one of the first 'camp' comics. Made his name on TVs 'Stars & Garters' show. Ended up running a stall on Blackpool Pleasure Beach!
