People may not like Lights' music-but they will learn to respect her as an artist. She is the most different artist I have ever seen, only because she is so confident about what she does.

Pretty has nothing to do with talent. People who don't like her music but watch her videos are simply checking out her looks.
The music industry has lost it's focus over the last 10 years or so. Looks now trump talent in the industry.
If Lights weighed 160+ lbs she wouldn't have gotten any where near as far in the industry as she has. I know a ton of non-famous artists who would blow her off the stage.

Her legal name is Lights, as in, she has to sign checks and such with that name. she got it changed
Valerie is her birth name but is now her middle name.
in fact, she even says in an interview that she doesn't like being called Valerie lol
