actually the quality of the vocal here is better than that on the video. Makes me wonder about a playback but then again..... I have had a fat mix when I've done live shows also and with this song being musically very quiet and VERY easily within Ozzy's vocal range it could be live. It honestly is hard to tell if you have a great sound person and there are not about 1000 db of sound to try to compeat with. The one thing I would argue is the que at the end with the cadance, tight if lipstank.

Randy had been dead around 3 years before GnR had even formed, so Ozzy wouldn't have even known who Slash was back then. Besides, their playing styles aren't exactly best suited. Both guitar heroes in their own right, but I couldn't imagine them working together.

actually Randy always returned to blues scales during his solos. Slash is a very unique and tricky blues guitarist. I bet they would have sounded great together and the styles would have blended well. It is great but Axl's new stuff it often misses that raw blues that Slash had and the precise sloppy (consistant and hard to play) for lack of a better term. Randy was very experimental for his time with harmonics and feedback all the stuff Slash loves. Think about it.

I say this as a LIFE LONG Ozzy fan, here. But I compared the vocals on this video to the vocals on the studio version. It is with great sadness that I say Ozzy is INDEED lip syncing. Anyone who has ever seen Ozzy perform live knows that Ozzy's live vocals are NEVER that precise. Every note, every bit of inflection. . .identical :(

@fearghal10 you can do that without editing a voice dude, you can get a device that plays your voice at a pitch shift, and that sounds like a phase shifter with some very small delay and very small reverb so yeah you can do that without editing like I said you just have to have the right vocal modulations/effects. and the parts where you say he's singing to parts no he's not ones a girl and one sounds like boys singing and another sounds like a choir.
