fucking mac fan boy... look, i agree, i PREFER mac over windows, mostly because, it is not as big of a resource hog (windows fanboys, fuck off, you can't deny it) I also like it because, it is amazing for media production, which is what i do mostly, (this account... i don't do anything for), other than media production, and not being a resource hog, i prefer windows for hardcore projects, non-media projects. When mac gets more games (CS:S so far is the best) then, my opinion may change, both r =
@xRonTheReaperx with bootcamp, you are just dual booting so you are not getting rid of os x. on start up of your mac, if you hold down the alt key, it will give you the option to boot into mac osx or windows
So is this a virtual machine? Or is it better because I currently run windows 7 on parallels and it takes up a LOT of ram and then if i want to export something in an windows only editing program, it will take a lot longer or it will have an error message saying theres not enough ram. And I have a mac desktop not a laptop. So is this more efficiant with RAM?
so i wana download a game lotro to play a lil this is what can make that happen on a mac rite? how do i get it? will it mess with the computer at all?
I just bought a Mac that has bootcamp on it. I want to run Windows (which is already installed and ready to use)...how do i boot up using the windows operating system?
thanks brother i have followed the procedure it is working fine but one little issue is as follows : while startup i hold option key to have a option between windows and mac osx ,right now in my max winxp is primary os ,can u tell mehow do i make mac osx primary os, ur respone will be appreciated thanks
I have vista on a 30 gb patition but when i turn on my macbook, it automaticly boots to windows and i always have to hold the option key to use mac os! can you help me? I want how to you set it up so it automaticly boots to mac os?
when you finally get the windows installed on your mac are your able to log out, go to the start page where you enter your password and username, and either choose if you want to enter your computer on windows or you mac the way you had it??
ive kinda been wondering that for a while now
ive also been planning on installing windows vista so thanks for the vid
theres a video about that on here when you log off windows or mac you hold option or something and a screen pops up where you can choose to use mac or windows hope this helps a bit?but yes it is possible! just atch boot camp tutorials/reviews youll find it!
No, you have to choose at startup by holding down the alt key and selecting Windows or Mac, or by going into startup disk on either Windows or Mac and telling it to reboot in Windows or Mac.
the parition has to be bigger than 7gigs i recament AT LEAST 20 if you screw up reboot your computer while holding down option then you can boot back into OSX not the instilation disc
WOW DAT WAS VERY HELP FUL....WAT ABOUT if i get a message about "DISK COULD NOT BE PARTITION BECAUSE NOT ALL FILES COULD BE MOVED" and i have to use disk utility? WAT DO I DO DEN?
Hi! It's been a while since i logged onto my mac using windows and Im pretty sure my windows registration key is now outdated, Im afraid to boot using windows now since i don't know what will happen... Really appreciate any help! what will happen?
i like mac more than windows its just that in school there are some windows only applications and also so i can some games on it but overall i think mac is way better than pc
would u lose your mac OS if i did that. i just got a mac and i want to run windows also or u can keep both mac and windows and just start up boot camp when ever i want to use windows?
hey can u help me. Ive heard some ppl say " Make sure you back up your files" do u have to back up your files? And if u dont bk them up will u lose them?
and also, Do u hve to have a copy of Windows XP Or Vista, Cant it be windows 2000?
uh, backing up your files is always a good idea in case you accidentally delete your files or if something happens to your computer. i dont know if you lose your files if you use bootcamp, but you should probably back up your files. bootcamp works with windowns XP and Vista for sure. it probably works with windows 2000, but im not 100% sure. most likely it does, and the easiest way to test it is just to try installing windows 2000 through bootcamp
indeed! im more of a playstation 3 fan for games... ( i try to saty away from microsoft)... no not really, but ya... the only game i like alot just happens to be for mac too, its sim city! lol... but it slows down my computer while using it.
thank you again. i agree pc does stink but my school requires basic windows running setup. thats why i needed this. also incase i wanted to play some games =P
u only got 19 gb left said

You can switch between Windows and OS X by holding the Option (Alt) key at start up.
