Why don't you people go on a political website and yammer? I'd like to know why you're still talking about something that happened years ago? I'm so happy to find the Dixie Chicks on here and I agree with the comment about nobody finds any fault with their singing - only their politics. Well, whatever they said about Bush is years old now and they were correct at the time.
For all those "good ole boys" who are still Bush fans, get over it. He was an embarrassment to our country. The Chicks knew it and said so. I heartily applaud their courage and love their music. I hope they'll put out a new album and do a new tour soon. .

Their PR was not based on politics, but music sung about freedom, love, and fun. I imagine it will continue that way as well.

Check out the other DC vids. You will be hard pressed to find anyone praising them without throwing in a "I hate Bush" comment.
The problem? Bush is not in office. Anti-Bush protestors no longer need a face for their political agenda. By allowing herself to be put in that position, she almost guaranteed she would be obsolete when Bush left office. Bad PR.

@Leonid3s And not only did the fair weather fans stop listening to the DC's music - in the midst of an anti-freedom of speech mass mob hissy fit ginned up by a propaganda campaign designed to ruin anyone in the public eye who dared question "Dear Leader" Bush - but all too many of them also actively supported (or at least stood idly by and did nothing to stop) coordinated efforts to wreck the professional careers of 3 American women with families to support, simply because they spoke their mind.

@ArmaniExchangeFan Your side? Your side includes Obama, who is now President, who is still in Iraq years after Bush left office and who currently put BUSH's general, Petraus in charge of Afghanistan to pursue an almost identical strategy to Bush.
As far as the wars in the middle east, there is no difference between "our side" (Bush) and "your side" (Obama).
If you believed there was going to be a difference when you voted for Obama, then YOU were the one duped.
