i dont want to overlap my lines with the strokeline...i want my stroke arround the whole object i tried everything but nothing will work...what can i do?
I'm having the same problem as 'DumpingDoll', I doing what you told them, however it's acting like it doesn't want to save the preference, if that makes sense...
Great tutorial, but when I try to use that brush strokes tool I only get the thick line not the black on the outside and white on the inside like you got. I tried putting all my settings the same as yours but it didn't really change anything. Is there anything else I can do?
The outside line is the stroke, and the inside color is the fill. I think that my stroke thickness was set to like 8px for this tutorial. If you will go into your fill and stroke panel, CTRL+SHIFT+F, look at the far right tab, thats where you can choose your stroke thickness. And of course the other two tabs control the color, opacity and blurriness of the fill and stroke. If you have any more questions, please comment again and I will answer as quickly as possible.
To take away the overlap I used "Union" (Inkscape 0.48).
