  • Seriously?!? NOOB?!? wow....

  • i got the android on my tilt 2 aka touch pro 2 runs great just the bt dosent work and volume does not work i can download from the droids market place and they work

    i can dual boot also

so whoever says this is this is a shell then they need to do their research before saying anything

  • @themangokid21

Yo can yu tell me how to do it with at&t veersion

  • @mawjrbrown34 yea i can. do you have a custom ROM or what in your phone and also what kind of phone is it

  • @themangokid21 thx man .

    Its a At&t Touch Pro 2 (At&t Tilt 2)

I tried to download this on my phone which i did but instead of sync it there i did it on my phone instead using the megaupload link shown in this video and it downloaded succesfully i went to the file which has the "haret" application shown in this video on 2:41 and whenever i go into it it says launch a script defauly path is the same where the executable lives then it has listen for network connection

  • @mawjrbrown34

ok the easiest way to do it is got to xda forums its been a while since iv been there so if you need help there i will have to check it out again

well find your phone should be a link thing on the side that brings up all phones and just look the the picture of your phone then go to the ROM folder. once there you should see a android folder open it and it will say a bunch of blah blah crap that is usless

there should be a CDMA version of the droid you need that one

    the other ones

  • @mawjrbrown34 pt.2 will not work it should take like 20 min to download just drag and drop that into your micro sd card

if you put it on your phones memory it will take up a lot of space but should still work

well there should be a program of the little droid guy

just start him and sit back

it may take a couple of min the first time you run it so dont freak out

sorry took so long for me to reply im not on that much anymore

  • Wil this work on HTC Touch 2?

  • will i be able to use the free google gps on this phone if i install the android software?

Wrenchmonky ur a fucking dumbass talking to urself on the video ur calling ppl noobs u fuckin fag u prob don't have any friend at ur skool nd girls think ur fucking ugly so stfu!!!!!

  • its not a shell, you can go on the market and download then use every app that doesn't use the camera or gps, since thoes 2 features are not available yet.

it works pretty well and is stable enough to use as your main os if you don't have to take pictures or use the gps alot :]

  • To: DogF*cker: "if you're happy and you know it"...

  • good job.

  • @wrenchmonkey26

wow can you just shut up please? you're really pathetic..making a big deal out of something that's not even that important...

i hate cocky, egotistical people like you..i pity you ahahahahahahahahaha

  • @EllisPerkins93 really? Let's see one single video of anybody clean installing Android without windows mobile. Not gonna happen. NOOOBS. Here's how it works, if an OS can not run independently, it's considered a shell, or shell integration. This is because it's dependent upon windows to run. You NOOOOOOOOOBS

  • @wrenchmonkey26 bet me!!! HTC Touch phones can be flashed to use Android OS. I'd bet every penny I have on that...People said that when MacOS X running on PCs were fake. Those people were saying the same crap you're saying...hardware specific, blah blah blah. I can run it perfectly fine on my fujitsu laptop....do you know what HaRET is? Look it up.....noob

  • @wrenchmonkey26 Your the fucking noob. There is a way to remove WinMobile and install a fresh copy of Android on a HD2... Watch: /watch?v=6UD0IIqAYJ0

  • Android is a proprietary OS...meaning it's HARDWARE specific...You can not install a full Android OS on a Windows based phone. Not possible. To prove my point, make a video of you installing Android WITHOUT windows. Wipe the phone clean, and perform a fresh install. Then boot, and run.

  • I'm an idiot? I've probably forgotten more than you will ever know about this stuff. Firstly, this is not a fully functioning port of Android, many CORE features are non functional. ie; ringers, sounds, etc. Secondly, it's not implementing the Android API. THEREFORE this is a SHELL. It's integrated withing windows OS. You CAN NOT Dual Boot on a touch pro 2. Know what you're talking about before you post. DuMbAsS......

  • thats not 2.1

  • @quann9 Sure is buddy.

  • that's a shell...big fu**ing deal. lets see you download from android market and install apps.

  • @wrenchmonkey26 A shell? Do you really think a shell would take that long to load? Its the real thing, check out the link on the sidebar for more details. Data is working now, along with the marketplace.

  • @wrenchmonkey26 I never called you an idiot.

  • @wrenchmonkey26 ...sheez kinda harsh dude...

  • @wrenchmonkey26 nerd

  • @wrenchmonkey26

    pro2 can clearly dual boot

  • @wrenchmonkey26 The TP2 can not dual boot?

    what about Gen.Y.DualBOOT?

  • @wrenchmonkey26 The TP2 can not dual boot?

    what about Gen.Y.DualBOOT?

  • @wrenchmonkey26 ,lol. he didn't call you an idiot but I am.....This is not a shell! Many HTC phones can run Android natively. Android runs on ARM processors, something all these phones have in common including the android phones. I have android running on an HTC Titan and I can download apps from the market place just fine. I can sync with my google account and all...How can you come to the conclusion that its not running Android API? HaRET, is the tool he uses to boot Android...noob...lol,wow

  • @wrenchmonkey26 it is not a shell. It closes down windows and boots android as an OS. There are hardware drivers and everything written for android on windows mobile. The reason certain things do not work is because the drivers are complicated and the algorithms haven't been written yet. Get some knowledge before you go off on someone who made a video just to show something cool.

  • @wrenchmonkey26 Its VERY easy to download from the marketplace... Ive downloaded numerous things. (Mostly wallpaper)

  • Pretty cool. I give it 3 more months before we have full functionality. It's really blossomed in the past few months alone.

  • @LoryLandskipper The newest version is very good. It makes calls ,CDMA data and WiFi work perfectly. You should try it out.

  • Sound doesn't work, though, right?

  • Well, Yes and No. The Speaker doesn't work at all. If you want the earpice part to work then right before you load android, you need to be in the middle of makeing a call. So, you can call your voicemail, then as it asks for your password, you load up android. Then you will be able to make calls from the phone.

  • cool. looks like winmo was shown off more than android hahaha, it looks nice (winmo). for now, android seems a bit slow on that phone. hopefully it gets patched up soon to be faster.

  • haha, yah, I put skip to 2:40 to watch the Android part. What your seeing is actually called Touch Flo 3D. Its a skin to make WinMo look prettier. WinMo by itself is plain boring/ugly.

The Android part is pretty raw. It still has a lot of bugs but im just happy that it works and knowing that there are people working on it to make it better.

  • @aarongzmn dude good thing you have that flo 3d thing then, it looks sliiick! and that makes sense then cause usually when I used to see winmo screenshots it looked like windows 95 running on a phone LOL, but I know it's gotten way better lately. yeah I know what you mean about the android, as long as someone somewhere is working on it, alls good lol
