Mega Man 9 Trick

There is a faster way. During Wily Stage 2 in the underwater area where you have to use the laser trident to break the blocks. Right before the annoying jump where you have almost no room to jump and there are spikes. The bottom area has a block. Break it. In this area you can find spots where you can run back and forth with the Jewel Satellite and the torpedo fish things will respawn crazy fast. I'll upload a video sometime to show you what I mean.

I have a question, since I just got this game and haven't spent time with it. 1. Can you exit the level after you gett 999 screws? 2. If you have to complete the level, what if you die, do you lose the 999 screws? Sorry if those are noob questions, I just downloaded this game.

You know, you can also do that in Hornet Man's stage:

1. Go right until you see the first two flower pots

2. Use the Jewel Satellite and stand on the second platform between them

3. It should also give you 999 screws (but it sometimes takes a long time)

...This trick has always existed. It is common sense. I am positive the beta testers picked this up and just didn't care. It was in all megaman games with weapons like that. If you are willing to wait 30 minutes you dererve 999 screws.

I did this trick while I was at the movies, and when I came back, I had 830 screws and nine lives! If there was a 100 star rating, I would use it for this video. But for now, five stars!

Well, it was helpful advice for people who own plasma TVs. I'd hate to do this trick, only to sacrifice a £1200 TV! Then again, I see what you are saying. It couldn't hurt to put this info in the video description with a "Please read first!". This does not, however, deserve a 1 star rating, even with that...

Listen everyone, if you want screws fast do this. Beat Hornet Man and Plug Man, then just go through his stage again. One of the large screws requires the hornet chaser to get. All in all this stage has 3 big screws and an E-Tank you can get over and over again. To make things even faster, have rush jet available to you when you start the farming process. Took me about 20 min to get 999 screws, 9 lives, 9 E-Tanks using this method. Hope this helps anyone out.

Oh to clarify, I meant go though Plug Man's stage over and over again. Also I started with about 200 screws when I fist started this method, so it make take a couple extra runs (i.e. 5-10 min) to get to 999 if you have very few screws already.

This is great to do when you had planned on stopping playing for awhile anyway. Just get in position, turn the tv off, go out to dinner and come back rich. You can also get 9 lives this way. I'm not sure what spot Tiberious is referring to and it seems he doesn't want to tell us. If he is referring to the spot in the first leg of Dr Wily's stage, yes more of them come out, but you can't get in a good position to collect all the drops unattended.
