From Chris Poland to Chris Broderick, they rock. Slayer has amazing drumming, and they are the most in your face intense of the group. HOWEVER, Metallica has always won for me. In my opinion, they just have the best structured songs of the group...however, they all fucking rock!

They play harder, faster, and with more attitude than Metallica ever have. The reason Metallica are more famous is because they make sure not to touch subjects that create controversy. Metallica has always tried to be just heavy enough and to not piss off too many people and that is the ingredients to popularity. Megadeth and Slayer don't hold anything back.

Slayer's early work was very heavy and evil but in a badass way. but God Hates Us All is just too evil and it sound a bit depressing like a lot of their new work. but its still alsome because its heavy and it keeps getting heavier with every album.
