  • I like that idea.. Using something of your own culture to celebrate a holiday not of your culture. That is how culture and tradition evolve. In Japan, the Japanese people like to layer sushi into the shape of a round cake, using sushi ingredients that have colors of Christmas. Thank you for sharing your idea... I think the way that I would cook it, would be to deep fry the tops, but then poor the oil out, then cook the bottoms with just the remaining film of oil in the pan.
