What kind of SG is that? The pickups look different than those on standards. Can't beat quality musicians. By the way, Iommi is truely the greatest metal guitarist of all time. Just look at the albums he recorded with different singers. One of his fingers is a prosthesis, and it gives the guitar even a greater metal sound, cause it is! Peace man.

@fastra Well I'm not sure its Scott Warren come to think of it but I do know that in the past when they had the reunion with Ozzy keyboardist Geoff Nichols played second guitar behind stage during songs such as "Snowblind" so its certainly possible that the same thing happened here.

If you take the melody sequence from 6:52 on this vid and compare it to 5:58 on "Heaven and Hell - Die Young Live HQ" (uploaded by MrTLester1). You can hear the sequence carry on whilst the solo continues - but on the the other vid I mention the melody stops whilst Tony solos.

Hence me thinking the 2nd guitar was added on later for the DVD - agree about Geoff Nicholls though.

When I saw them I thought this too - no 2nd guitar.

I'm thinking this is a DVD release, but it was a TV broadcast - so perhap they made a special effort for this and either had a taped 2nd guitar or as you say, someone in the wings - it sounds very loud in the mix too which makes me think it was added on later, but it can't have been if this was broadcast live.....!
