I dressed like the joker recently it was very time consuming. I had to dye a suite purple because I could not find a purple suite. I had to by face make up and lipstick and green hair dye, nice pair of shiny dress shoes and dress shirts and a purple and blue tie and leather gloves. I looked just like the joker on the batman cartoon.

Here is my theory on why so many "guys" put down other people who try their take at the joker(Ledger joker) Theory 1.=they would like to try but know they don't have the face/physique or time and creativity. can you give a list of all the materials you used to help put on the makeup? like the sponge etc. also will the scars stay on better if you use spirit gum? and finally i love this. the eyes an forehead are the best part. the scars are very good for only putty wax. i think the part of her lips you used lipstick for though is too much brighter than the scars

*I applied the white makeup with an angled makeup sponge. You can get them at any drug store or makeup supply store. They're super cheap and disposable.

*I applied the red scar paint with my Bare Escentuals Concealer brush, but any brush will do, really.

*I don't know if the putty wax would stick better with spirit gum. If you're going to use spirit gum, I would just buy some prosthetics from a costume shop and use those, and not worry about the putty wax.

Heh, funny story about the costume... the coat is actually RED! I had to photoshop it purple so it would look semi-accurate. I was gonna try to photoshop the shirt blue, forgetting that in my photoshop program, white only turns into.... white... meh.
