So, that already makes it a great tribute to this lady.

She shined brightly throughout her life, even when days were cloudy..

And as in life, she's still a star, now shedding her tender light from up above, lighting up those night skies..

Every flower, lovely as may be, will fade some day.

But her accomplishments were like seeds that she planted, ensuring she'll live on through that.

Awesome tribute! You sure found some nice photos. I've got an early four record 78 set of Lena Horne with some fantastic songs. It's called The Birth Of The Blues(An Album of W.C. Handy Music) and feaures her and the Dixieland Jazz Group of NBC's Chamber Music of Lower Basin Street. She does some wonderful renditions of St. Louis Blues,East St. Louis Blues, Beale St. Blues, Memphis Blues,Joe Turner Blues,Aunt Hagar's Blues, John Henry Blues, and Careless Love Blues.
