  • Glad to see you! I can't eat pizza either...Pizza was my thing...not any longer. You will still lose wt...we have a three year outlook for the same weight loss as GB for their year. Life happens. Take Care!! Just think..60lbs..that is great!

  • All of this happens.

I have been on steroids off and on for my Crohn's and Ankle problems I gained over 20 lbs in one week.

    You will get there.

Sixty lbs are awesome! You'll get back in the game, I hope you do at least, but if not, don't leave us in the dark for so long next time :)

Take care and be good to you!

  • Ok, SJ...I'm really really happy to see your vid update. It's a big step and I'm proud of you.

60 lbs is no small feat and you even acknowledge that you wouldn't have been able to without the band. I know I wouldn't have...

Every step forward is a step in the right direction. You're investigating what's going on inside your body and when that all becomes clear, you'll find your way back to weight loss and exercise. I'm proud of you!! it's all for the best!! keep it up! you're worth it!

  • Good for you Sara-Jane, I'm sure you were hesitant to do this video, but Sweetie, you are on the road again, just by sharing it. It will take time to get your energy back, but you have come too far to stop everything all together. Baby steps now.. just keeping moving forward..

    Huggggggggs

  • I am right there with you! I am also hiding. I haven't lost more than 50lbs in 10 months. I'm so disappointed and frustrated. I have been extremely anemic and ended up in the hospital this past weekend with a blood transfusion. I'm always exhausted and I don't think my mind is in this the way it should be. I feel for you and hope you work your way through this. I'm sure you will. But, yes, it's easy to feel like a 'failure' when the pounds don't melt off like they 'should'. Keep your chin up.

  • I'm glad to see an update from you.

  • Yay for an update!!!!

  • glad to see you again! Hang in there, we are all a work in progress =)

  • Sara-Jane, it is soooo good to SEE you again! Please don't despair! You have averaged 5 pounds per month, which is HUGE! Slow and steady.....It took one of my friends 3 years to reach goal with the lapband. DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!

  • good to see you! 1 year out. .. WOW! We need you to make more videos. 60lbs is huge. Keep trucking. Take good care of yourself.

  • Hi SaraJane! Good to see you again! Please get tested for sleep apnea. I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea and put on a CPAP machine. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it!!! I feel so much better and have much more energy throughout the day. I am also going to be banded on Oct 28th. Great video and you are not a failure. 60lbs is awesome!

  • Please please keep doing videos I missed you sweetie...no more not coming on ok...love ya...love rosemary

  • SaraJane 60 lbs?? That is great for year one and I would LOVE it so much if I hot 60 lbs by november 28th. I miss your videos and I hate that you are feeling like that. I think you should come back immediately and let us do what we do best here in this community, take care of you of course! :) Come back soon!

  • You are NOT failing!!! You are doing great!!! This lapband thing is hard--trying to get restriction, being too tight, not tight enough, etc. The thing is you are not quitting and 60 pounds is great. And keep making the videos even through the hardtimes, because this one encouraged me. I am at a plateau and my surgiversary is tomorrow. I needed to see this video to know that I am not alone. Keep up the great work and see you SOON.

  • I've read time and again, that support is a big deal for those who are successful with this - I hope you'll come back, and get the support you need, to continue on to your goals. It's okay to go really slow, just don't ever give up! Hugs, Cami
