@bitingbushpig thanks, yeah took 2 days to complete start to finish. i also noticed a longer battery life and no heating up of the battery, i done a hour of on time with steering constantly + another 30mins with steering and motor running at full speed and that was on the battery in the video that wasnt full charged and still had loads of power left the battery is 7.2v 2500mah.
@TUNGL1ME It would be nice to get this on my 1/10th rock crawler but it would never work due to the high center of gravity. I have a modded out Redcat rs10. It started out with new servos then new shocks then more weight in the tires and even a battery on the front axle over the motor that is tied in with the belly battery then a winch. The body is the Ford F-250 from the radio shack rc truck that had the tracks under it. Next is to machine new spindles to fit the tracks to my rock crawler.
@bitingbushpig maybe you could use another unit with a small fan i made one in a small clear case that was flat still worked great, i might make a box section to go inside the tl-01 chassis so i can have the same setup and have a window in it . ur project sounds great cant wait to see some videos of it.
all i can say is WOW one hell of a good job.... i bet this took a bit to get it all done up.
