However, i'm not the greatest hockey player. But, I can still pick the puck up like that.

That doesn't mean this move is Easy as Shit. This move just like stopping on all edges is a skill that takes time to learn.

Just because a lot of people can do it doesn't mean it's easy. Riding a bicycle is easy too. but not if you have never learned.
