Jason is THE modern harmonica god!!! This continues to be my favorite of his songs...so far. New Blood is smokin' hot! I just wish they'd come to Oregon once in awhile. Saw the band in Auburn Hills, MI in the fall and you guys just KILLED. This song is brilliant lyrically, on top of the high-quality musicianship the band displayed all night. I'm particularly impressed with what you do with some jazz classics (e.g., Afro-Blue). Keep pushing the edges of the genre. And come back to Michigan. The Ark in Ann Arbor should book you. You'd be a huge hit here.

Saw him sing this LIVE twice ...and got the album just as it came out on the 21st...it's BRILLIANT! and my favourite song on the album. 'Enlightenment' is my favourite instrumental. The entire CD is wonderful...but seeing Jason sing this Live is beyond great..his heart and soul are in this song. SO cool to see it on a decent video. Love it, love it, love it. THIS is Jason.
