The majority of these comments are bitches moaning about the band. Open your eyes, he's not going to use the exact backing music The Smiths use to play, Morrissey didn't write the music it's self, he was the voice of The Smiths, Marr wrote most of the music. They had to change it slightly in order to avoid running into copyright. Stop treating him like a God, I love The Smiths and Morrissey, but don't idolise him to the point of slagging off the band, i'm sure they're all really good musicians.

This is the last time I try and post a comment on this shitty site. This version aint that bad, I must disagree with a lot of folk out there. I remember seeing this at the time it was broadcast. Both my ex and I thought it was very passable. I think the band are ok, but the singing could be better.

You know, I like it...at least it's quick and somewhat heavy. I do miss the introduction though. What is worse is when Morrissey and his current bandmates play the old songs way too slow, but that doesn't seem to be happening here.

It's a fresh interpretation, absolutely nothing on the original. The band really do lack Marr's finesse and Rourke's groove. Nice to finally see him play the Smith's greatest song live at any rate though
