ppl stay in our State Maharashtra our city Mumbai and say i dnt know marathi..under the "we r all indians" tag ppl suppress the original natives and original culture of Mumbai ie "Marathi" and not any other language..y is Punjabi given so much importance??..y r not south indian wording used in bollywood songs..north indians staying in Mumbai,Banglore ,Chennai show some respect to our languages or get lost back to ur fucked up states..Jai Hind..Jai Maharashtra

This song is sheer magic. That dholak and harmonium just puts you in a trance and that chorus is just haunting. The build-up, pause and build-up is beautiful. I don;t know who made the music but he is comparable to Hridaynath Mangeshkar.

and the dance is magnificent - top class lavani.

This is just f...ing awesome stuff. The movie overall is fantastic - lets have more Marathi movies like Natrang.

Anyways, search for "Mann Udhan" (Shankar Mahadevan), "Jiv Dangala" (Hariharan, Shreya Ghoshal), "Morya Morya", "Zenda Song", "Lallati Bhandar" &"Durge Durgat Aga Bai". These are only a few of their other amazing compositions.

I heard this song in Krishna's performance in Jhalak Dikhlaja. I don't understand a word except AFSARA, which is same in URDU too. BUT I LOVE THIS SONG!! I am Pakistani, & I think languages came out of Aryan & Sanskrit are beautiful. I wish I could learn Marathi.

i'm passionate abt dance and when i saw the Z channel live show performance of the sonali i was much more impressed than the film for two reasons...

one is that the live performance is one whole dance with no cuts or takes and is crucial for dancers to get it right in the performance. She did it very well with ease and poise.

another reason is that the cuts & takes in films (which it demands) interrupts the flow of dance for any dancer yet her dance is so mesmerising it doesnt reveal the errors

natrang is excellent in every department of its making.. it is really comparable to old movie Pinjara .. though these two films have different story line but i feel like this film will also be remembered along with pinjara its remarkable .. every one seems to be worked really hard to make it "Natranga"

If this film is dubed in english it will really reach out to masses and i think people will like it But the English has to be simple and good and should send the correct meaning ..
