  • No offense, but for the mechanically uninclined, what's the advantages of rotary over other engines? Forget the burnout, man, my friend used to install Clorox dispensers over drive wheels that would let a minivan spin and smoke. Serious answers, anyone?

  • Simply putting it, Power to weight ratio. Most of the cars in this vid have 1.1 or 1.2lt engines putting out considerable amount power given their size and weight. They are also considered very bang for buck, and in most cases will cost considerably less than a typical piston engine to say achieve 10sec 1/4s. Heaps of air/exhaust flow also lets the engine utilise larger turbo's better for strip. Circuit racing rotaries can be mounted ultra low and deep under the dash for a great centre of gravity

  • it would be the size to power ratio, a example would be a 1.3 rotary would be the same as a 2.0 liter 4cyl engine
