Well, basically you've got the idea how to use this calculator ;)
That being primaryly and adding and subtracting machine although multiplication through repeated adding is possible but of course not as secure as on a more dedicated machine as an Odhner style. The Odhner style in it's original form however is a bit tedious doing additions. Then the 10-key pinwheel Facit C1-13 is better but that has disadvantages in doing square roots etc. So each machine has different functions where it's better
