reply to flamehazze08: not neccesarily, usually animes are based off of mangas...and usually animes are being made WHILE mangas are still being made.....SOOOO

(they could end up making an entire season 1...and accidently making the mistake of not ending it soon enough or the manga/anime itself could have reached an abrupt end...) so in any case, it might be shorter on season 2. :P
