I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU GUYS STILL LIKE THIS MUSIC, This music is a garbage, it is a music of the 80's, you guys cannot move on. This song is a total trash compare to Indian Music, indians are the world's most talented and top human being in the world, you westerns are just dumb and no brain, you don't have any talent at all.
@movieshbo Indian? You mean Ravi Shankar or Buffy Saint Marie? Susan Aglukark? I don't like all 80s music. I don't hate all Indian music. There are talented musicians EVERYWHERE & dumb people EVERYWHERE-even in India. Many of us are open minded; like food, ethnic music can be an acquired taste, but first someone has to make you WANT to try it. Sadly, you aren't doing a very good job as self-appointed Ambassador of Indian Music. Few will try it now. Why be so narrow-minded & abusive?
I've never been able to catch this song in the movie and I've probably seen it over 20 times over the years. The Berlin song is used for the intimate scenes. Either I forget to listen for it -every single time- or it's not there. Can someone please tell me when it's actually heard in the movie? It still bugs me hat I can't hear it, and I pretty much have canine hearing, lol. Or did that part end up on the cutting room floor and the official soundtrack album was already signed and compiled?
@PetiKEKN For some reason, I kept seeing that image when I'd hear the song on the radio, but when I watched the movie, I could never hear it! They got it in there, lol. Thank you for clearing that up for me. I'm kind of loony, so I new some sane person might be able to set me straight.

im an indian and i dislike this song because for me HINDI MUSIC is the best in the world, just try to listen to a hindi music and you will cry because it will touch your heart and soul
@movieshbo You're entitled to your own opinion, but why do embarrass yourself by looking for songs you dislike & commenting about an ethnic/cultural music style? You've only made yourself look really ignorant. This is not ethnic music. Rock & Roll knows no border, gender, age, race, or ethnicity. Comparing Hindi music to rock is like comparing 2 samples of great musicianship like Elvis' Jailhouse Rock to Myron Floren's Roll Out the Barrel. It's not even apples and oranges--it's steak & a banana.
@movieshbo Fack Y man , no one ask Y , who Y'r , but Y'r spiting on this song ! I'm sad and crying on this song cos remind me on time when ewerithing was like in heawen, but , now, I'm alone and sad , shame on Y , Man !
The most underrated song on the Top Gun soundtrack. But that's what makes that soundtrack so great, all those memorable songs and you got an amazing loverboy b-track that is a classic.
Simplemente maravillosa, la mejor balada de la historia We've been livin' on the edge Where only the strong survive We've been livin' on the edge And it's something that we just can't hide Oh this feeling inside In your eyes I want to see your love again In your eyes I never want this feeling to end It took some time to find the light But now I realize I can see the heaven in your eyes
@lcheriem They sure did! So much in fact that I had the hots for Kelly McGillis for the longest time. Knowing what I know now it certainly would have been a major letdown (pun intended). Oh well.
great song from the TG soundtrack....the "other" love song from on soundtrack..however its not played anywhere in the movie which is why today (unless your a huge TG fan which means you have the OST) alot of people don't know it was connected to TG...still great 80's ballad that can stand on its own.
Thank you so much!! Great video!!! I saw Loverboy live this summer!! They were soooooo very good! Sounded the same --amazing! Mike Reno hit every note!! This song is just wonderful!!! They look totally different! Once they started singing, we were transported back to the day!
this is Loverboy's BEST song in my opinion...from one of my favorite movies of all time TOP GUN...wow!....this song brings back some great memories thanks a million for posting!!!
