THEY'RE SIDE RODS!! F***king hell, you're worse than HIT's writers
ChrisT1000000two 2 years ago
i agree. they are not coupling rods. coupling rods are at the front of the train. thanks chris =]
Well sorry mister up tight b***h
Call me uptight, I call it FACTUAL INFORMATION!
Well in some of the US eps they say Coupling Rods.
They do in the UK, but guess what? THEY'RE WRONG! They are SIDE rods and you can even see on locomotive website what the different parts of a locomotive are called
they are side rods or in australia traction rods. coupling rods are wha join the carriages together
i think
good work.
if you google search coupling rods, you will find that siderods and coupling rods are bassically the same thing.
Engines with exterior pistons, have coupling rods, engines with interior pistons (such a thomas) has siderods
you call yourself a thomas fan =D
LOL good one! I always here Brandon or Angelis say "coupling rods", and I am thinking "HiT is getting stupider and stupider with trains".

No, I don't think so.
Ringo said "coupling rods" in "Thomas, Terence, and the Snow". They do "couple" the wheels togehter, do they not?
GenghisKhan44 2 years ago
yes, but it was a goof, as he was talking about the siderods.
