Eh. Nah, this really didn't work for me at all in this movie. He needed Maetel there to be kicking butt with him, even if he is gifted. Even bandit boy. Her job was to protect and deliver, and she is doing none of that. They make her appear totally wimpy in this, with none of her cool skills.
