  • HELLO KITTY!

  • I'm a little confused on the context of when one would use Konbanwa and Oyasumi. Which one do you generally use for good evening and a greeting? Does anyone know?

  • @Funkthefunkyfunk konbanwa is used for good evening/ greeting someone during the evening time

  • @Funkthefunkyfunk Konbanwa for an evening greeting.Oyasuminasai is when u are saying goodbye at nightime or tucking ur children into bed.:-)

  • @Funkthefunkyfunk

Konbanwa is a greeting used at and after evening.

Oyasumi is a "last good-bye for the day" (used only past evening)

So you use Oyasumi when going to bed, or for the last time you will talk to the person because it is very close or past bedtime.

    Did I help?
