U are so stupid man! u shouldnt say it has good detection rate...the network and web shield are a part of its protection...the web shield first scans and then blocks a site....network shield includes a light network scanner and a URL blocker.....how do u say it has ok detection rate?!
Just out of curiosity, did you reboot after installing Avast, prior to testing? If you look at the shields in the GUI, the sandbox always requests a reboot prior to working properly...thanks

@144bulldog MSE does not have few features..... According to Microsoft MSE works well with Windows firewall and IE...... IT has NIDS(Network Intrusion detection System) integrated with firewall and as far as Internet shield IE has smart screen filter.......... But since MSE is from Microsoft and it is fast and doesn't get in your way at all I gave a higher rating..........I didn't finish my review on avast I didn't see the file system shield works..... I will test that shield in my next review.
