There is a fantastic movie dealing with the mystery of Ince's death, Chaplin's affair with Marion Davies and Hearst's jealousy called The Cats Meow, staring Kirsten Dunst, Joanna Lumley and Eddie Izzard. I loved watching it, thoroughly recommend it.
Actually Ince died of a heart attack; Hearst was at San Simeon at the time. Davies did have an affair with Chaplin. She and Hearst had a daughter in 1923 who was raised as Marion's sister's child (not revealed until 1993)
