  • I Like This. you put the right amount of scratching into it, not too much.

  • the backing track didnt work with 'closer', but after that everything sounded excellent...good stuff buddy..keep it up :)

  • Good Stuff. You Should Do A Little Scratching Btw.

  • Not bad...you transitions are smooth. I think if you add just a little more flare by learning some advanced scratching, this could be a fan favorite on youtube!! keep it up my man..

also, check out my soundcloud if you get a chance and tell me what you think!!

  • Great mix!!!

  • realy cool :D

  • I'm so so so so sorry....I didnt mean to break your heart.

  • Ouch two different keys at the beginning. I like the choice in music, but you shouldn't have seen any of the mixes coming. Need to beat pad it to mix in between songs. Nice mix with Rihanna and Daft Punk. One thing to look out for is KEYS! Beat sync was good, song choice not so much! Nice video though!

  • thats pretty good..and if you could do that well on geminis.. you must be good.. tough to work wirh gear that fights you

  • props on the shirt...Rakim Allah

  • GREAT MIX!!!!

  • rihanna don´t stop the music =)

  • rihanna - don´t stop the music =)

  • rihanna-don´t stop the music =)

  • no one uses virtual dj now a days.. gotta go with serato

  • @expo7na vertual dj is very famous maybe not in clubs but very much so, it has karaoke and video i'm using serato and i wish serato would have the features of vertual dj.

  • @expo7na -Actually I know quite a few DJ's that still use virtual DJ and they are off the hook!

  • what songs did u use at 2:00

  • what songs did u use?

  • muy buen mix.

  • aburren esas mezclas

  • if u cut the guitar out it wouldve been alot better but it good tho

  • if u cut the guitar out it wouldve been alot better

  • And nice vid bro , i dont like leaving hate comments

We should do mix off on youtube?

    let me know

  • @squanto818 Because Geminis are cheap , i learned that from my dad a 7 years old . he said to never buy Geminis . I use Techniques , Now thats a true DJ setup

  • Fucking hate most of this music with a passion but fair play you are talented. Wish more Nightclub DJs mixed like this instead of just chopping from track to track

  • dope mix

  • man dis go hard like if u agree

  • I Like !

  • Where do you get the background music like the trumpet and that girl sining, or just drum and bass beats without vocals, actually also how do u mix songs but take out the vocals on one?

  • @snaredrummerBD now that's actually a song... i forgot the name but it was essentially hers but pitbull just took the beat and did a remake..

  • I'm confused, what do the records do exactly, and do u have to have a seperate record for a simple beat like that trumpet thing, i dont understand can someone explain the whole dj thing but paraphrase it for me? please

  • i do house min. house top40 rap Baltimore club and what you'll find is that most mixing will be done between 128 bpm and 130 bpm work on keys and variety of music ... this is one thing i learned djing is that if you can get the girls up the men will follow. lol not bad in time you'll drop em to the floor

  • work on your keys melody was lackin its tuff but other than that nice

  • you get down bro

  • @squanto818 not long by the sounds of it

  • does one song have lyrics and the other does not?

  • i like the way you spin betwine two diffrent songs at a time then each one a time .you dont change the subject with a third tune, you teaz then deliver! thats club quality. teaz'n deliver all the way!

  • I use it to well use to but it lags my pc like a mad dog so I am now on vdj

  • Nice mix Bro are you using virtual dj

  • @minimackproductions I'm using Serato.

  • Good Shit Yo! Check me out bro, just posted my first mix on youtube and i'm looking for all the feedback I can get. Check me out at DJ 1800 Presents

  • U are so good baby. I love yr mix.

  • Fair effort, maybe take a look into some key mixing? Nice setup would be cool to see more energy, scratch routine or a faster tempo with some effects would make it sweet.

  • @galactic009 Check out my other mixes!

  • @galactic009 if your game is on point you don't need effects. Every DJ now days over uses effects, and other stuff to cover up their lack of talent.

  • more practice is definitely what u need.. and a stand for that laptop and maybe a mixer with some fx.. keep up the good work man..

  • what are your turntables? your mixer? how much is your whole equipment? i wanna dj i know some basics and i want to dj with analogue turntables and serato scratch live. can i get any reccomendations? i need the cheapest turntables even if they were the worst, but im low on money :(

  • @EGYPeaceOut09 Check the video's description box for all the names of the equipment I used.

  • @theillestboYee thank you very much, im gonna plan on buying the set but not in the near future, cuz my money won't get me a cartridge. I'm gonna buy a simple computer DJ controler the one called ION Discover DJ, for large jogwheels, its nothing behind turntables but just for starting. thx anyway :D

  • @EGYPeaceOut09 U shud check out the Stanton package...good to start with

  • Props dawg... but, can you cut, break or scratch more to make it more energetic... ;)

  • 256 people don't have taste..

  • This is used for a warm up in our Zumba class!!

  • @genboomboom Haha that's terrific!! Do you teach at a gym?

  • pretty good but out more emotion into ur music u looked bored lol

  • @mrboy369 I go crazy in my other mixes. Watch them!

  • @mrboy369 I go crazy in my other mixes. Watch them!

  • im lookin for a beginner table to start djing trying to keep it under a grand any suggestions folks?

  • @jetmemphis83 it depends what you wanna do mixing or scratching: for mixing you best get a normal turntable with pitch, for scratching a vextax turntable

  • @jetmemphis83 it depends what you wanna do mixing or scratching: for mixing you best get a normal turntable with pitch, for scratching a vestax turntable

  • 4:32 is nice..!

  • These plates, are they digital? I refer, the vinyl this one emptiness And do you put the track that you want? Regards

  • @JUGONESdelCOD No, the turntables are not digital. I using a vinyl emulation program called Serato Scratch Live which allows me to control what is played on my vinyl through my computer.

  • this is EXCELLENT! thumbs up!

  • hey who sings that heartbreaker song, im really feelin that song.

  • @pointblankedit Full track list in video description box.

  • esta chido el mix

  • how did that caust because i want one :D

  • here in dubai its only 300 usd each

  • @Frankiej020 exactly, but I think thats a bari sax ... good info though

  • are you depth?:/

  • the more you practice the best you get

  • @craponthelap thats only if u play with cd players and yess do play with serato just practice beat matching on your own time its not even hard. especially if u have cd players. cause who's really going to bring crates with them

  • lokon combinaste bos canciones nada mas eso no es ser dj papa entendes

  • this is a great mix! dont be so hard on urself =]

  • i just luv it ...Thank u keep going ..:)xxx

  • @Frankiej020

i was going to say the same thing about key.

  • @Frankiej020 Its a saxophone. Not a trumpet.

  • mix is awesome, track selection dont talk to me though, thats my opinion though. It doesnt carry through. Sounds more like a radio mix. Please believe that this is no criticism of your talent, it just dont flow progressively in places. (heartbreaker/damaged was good though) Still, like i said though, mixing ability is well on point. Keep doing your thing!

  • @craponthelap if your computer crashes and you don't have real vinyl on hand you are screwed anyway.....have a CD with a recorded mix on just in case...

  • @craponthelap yes u r rite i practised with vdj first no head phones need to be preheard

  • JH you mention this is your worst ever. Look at the numbers! This mix has been listened to 400,000 more than your newer mixes!! I listen to this everyday. Mainstream mix YES. Try some more. Great!

  • @craponthelap... not true. Serato stays true to the DJ. It is only there to store your records, cue points, and to be used as a controler for you vinyl. I wish they had this 10 years ago. bringing 10 crates of records is a back breaker

  • dude do u have any nice rnb mix tapes , i love your shit bro

  • nice mix

  • nice mix

  • OH MY GOSHH!u re fuckin g amazinage!!UAUAUAU!

  • @craponthelap I mixed for a couple years with vinyl before I got Serato.

  • if this was a beginner mix then you got a good start man. All your mixes are pretty smooth and on beat as well as matched up pretty good. Most people start off pretty bumpy but you are on point.

  • wut's the first song

  • @leadfarmer13 Check the video's description box...

  • tontooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • No je to hrozný !!!!!

  • NOT BAD

  • with $1500 you could got a better dj equiment with 2 technics 1200 and a vestax mixer....im just saying

  • @squanto818 About three and a half years now. Haha I don't think $1,500 is too bad. Serato is $500?+ alone.

  • Jó felszereláése van a gyereknek nekem azért jobb van

  • i have those turntables!!!!!

  • Can i ask how much did all of your equipment cost U? those gemini turntables seem expensive..direct drive?

  • @newketo Yep, the turntables are direct drive. They were about $250 each. Everything total (turntables, mixer, headphones, Serato) was about $1,500 in all.

  • do u know how to scratch

  • @adhddrummer1 Not well...haha.

  • @theillestboYee : even put some baby scratches in there to start! even the basic scratches can take your mix to another level

  • u r awesome u think ur lame but i think ur cool

and dude u have i have the same laptop as yours h-p pavi-iion d-v 20-00

  • @havee2032 I have a dv6000, not dv2000.

  • damn for 2yrs ago, this aint half bad lol n the mainstream wasnt all that bad either

  • rihanna / duft punk was awesome :D

  • You are a master mixer.... the blend is perfect. one.

  • can i ask what is the first title of song you play before the song closer? i really like the way you mix music.. please respond thanks!!!!

  • @johnsharina Full track list in video's description box.

  • shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How do i download this song?

  • @SGTjoker1 Sorry, this mix is currently not available for download.

  • ey i dont like most mainstream, but i enjoyed ur mix

  • whaaaaaaaaaaaatttt!!

no mames estas de la chingada!

  • FOS!

  • that aint you mixing the records starts before you let go of it

  • have you got a download link for this mix?

  • @SilkMeatball No, sorry!!

  • cool dude but tell me what were the first two songs

    i sub

  • @havee2032 Check the video's description box.

  • nice shirt and nice mix

  • @AnjeanSan Yeah...what he said.

  • U r doing a pretty good job Dawg... dont worry about the Chef.. obviously its not his field of expertises....Hence the "Chef" And for you Chef its not a pre-made mix sir. u see he kills the "Dont Stop the Music" n uses the "one more time" in the mix. at 5:02 thats what Djin is all about cut chop and use w.e to be creative n unique serato made beat matching super easy so as long as ur you know ur bars a perfect clean set is not that hard..if u were in doubt just ask calling him "Fake" is not cool

  • I think he´s mixing, you can see it by the movement of the faders and the xfader. With turntables you can do perfect mixes. And there are some imperfections in the mix. But I think it´s ok.

  • I think the mixes are coming from your laptop. If by turntable....you'll be able to hear some imperfections........the blends are too perfect for turntables.

  • @islandchef4u LOL someone please help me here.

  • @islandchef4u i really isnt that hard to mix on turntables, the music is off of his laptop yes, but he's using digitaly encoded vynal which allows him to mix the songs, all you have to do is be able to match the beats and find the perfect place to mix them together which is usually the beginning of the chorus, he im guessing he doesnt have to match the beats because they are alreaddy pre matched but i understand your misunderstanding, haha but its possible to do on turntables

  • @islandchef4u He using Serato man! The music comes from the laptop but is controled by the Tables..............Get wit it man

  • @islandchef4u

The computer eliminates much of the skill but gives you crystal clear sound because you are using mp3's. These programs tell you the exact bpm's of each track. Each record is different and knowing it by its touch is a lot more difficult. That's where the real skill of a dj is unique.

  • @islandchef4u why the hell would he pay the load for those tables if he was going to bull shit it?

  • @islandchef4u too perfect for turntables? have you ever used a turn table before? lol

and his mixes are pretty sloppy in a lot of places...

  • @islandchef4u You're wrong and right. They're clearly real records (see the needle). He's playing timecodes.

  • @islandchef4u dude u suck!!!

    u dont know shit!!!

if u cant mix like this u shud give up

  • @islandchef4u or hes just a good dj and it is it records onto the laptop

  • @islandchef4u why is that. most djs that cant blend on regular records still sound wack when on the serato. its the dj.. not the equipment

  • FAKE dude. I can see you using the turntables for reversing and small samples...but your cross fader is not MOVING man. This is pre-recorded stuff. Don't get me wrong.... nice blendz and good musiq ......though but I caught you!

  • @islandchef4u Lol WHATEVER dude. "Reversing" and "small samples"? When it comes to DJing, do you even know what you're talking about? Are you telling me I'm not moving the crossfader at 1:33 or at 4:15? They don't have eye doctors for nothing you know!

  • @islandchef4u yo man u must not no shit sun!!!

why hate on some ones skills for dude!!

this is purely live ! get some glasses

  • wats the total cost for every thing u need to be a dj

  • @chrisbrezzy96 Anywhere from a couple hundred bucks to a few thousand. It really all depends on what type of equipment you want.

  • good mixin

  • @theillestboYee

have you got the link for this Sick Mix :D

i wanna play it in work ! WHOOP WHOOP !!!!

  • @ theillestboYee

    JT

  • @MadStylezuk This exact set-up? About $1,500.

  • @MadStylezuk Word!
