  • I just saw this video today. Quite moving, as Les Mis is my favorite musical performance, having seen it several times on stage and on CD. However, Les Miserables is NOT about the French Revolution but about characters starting from 1815 and ending in a short student and youth uprising occurring around 1832, long after the Revolution and Napoleon's reign. Read the novel by Victor Hugo before you comment.

  • can't keep tears in my eyes while watching this....

  • I want to be the camera guy at 1:47

  • 1:24 plastical surgery fail

  • @Moratorium Actually, that's me, and I've never had plastic surgery. There's something wrong with you, making comments like that about people. You must be a very sad person.

  • How 4 persons cannot like that ??!!!

    Incomprehensible !!!

It was a great moment :-)

  • Well why would you cry I feel for you

  • I cant stop crying

  • I have been lucky enough to see Les Mis' 3 times now,& it is the epitome of musical theatre. From the opening overture to the rousing closing number it is 'on the edge of your seat' experience. No fidgeting in the seats,no annoying rustling of sweet-wrappers,or slurping of mouths around toffees,(why DO theatres sell those damn things, lol),just utter enjoyment of the greatest show on earth!

  • The British do big things really well. This is memorable.

  • This should have been sung at the Student demonstrations in London.

Betrayal of the generation that will have to dig the world out of Global Warming.

  • Do you hear the people sing? Singing the song of angry men? It is the music of a people Who will not be slaves again! When the beating of your heart Echoes the beating of the drums There is a life about to start When tomorrow comes! Will you join in our crusade? Who will be strong and stand with me? Beyond the barricade Is there a world you long to see? Then join the fight That will give you the right to be free... Will you give all you can give (…) Will you stand up and take your chance?
  • i love how this people sing.. I TRULY CAN HEAR THEM xD

    Really, I mean it.

  • I have always loved this song because of how inspiring it is in that it represents a people breaking loose of the bondages of goverment....It shoud be the theme for the "Tea Party Movement" in America taking place now

  • @plinney no..................the french revolution is REALLY different from the tea party movement and sarah palin....

  • This song represents the spirit of all - goog - human beings i.e.

the sense for what we at leat are here on earth!!!!!!

    A wonderful song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Like the whole musical.
