  • That riff from 1:44-1:57 is so awesome...can you please finish writing it and record it? haha its so sick!

  • @mrtall1994 I might record something soon using it... wont be a full song though, just an short instrumental thing. People seem to like it :P

  • @heron1991

Alright cool, I'm looking foward to it!

  • what song is that from 1:59-2:12 i'm sure i've heard it somewhere but can't figure it out, tone is really nice =]

  • @PumpkinKyuubi Surf wax America - WEEZER. ;D

  • @PumpkinKyuubi Weezer - Surf wax America.

  • You're getting great sounds out of this thing, even with the low output pups. People usually say the stock pups of the CIJ '69 stangs suck, but you made 'em sing.

  • 1:03 was that supermasive black hole by muse

  • yes haha, played rather badly.

  • no actually it was pretty good. it just fucked up at the end

  • how long have been playing and how old are you?

  • how does it hold tune mate?

  • Hey. It holds tune great. There is a bit of a myth about Mustangs going out of tune but its not true. Get it set up right and it will stay in tune fine for days.

  • COOOOOOOOL!

  • Hey, did you make all of that up?

    If so then o.o

thats pretty cool lol nice playing

love the tone especially the neck pickup with the distortion

    (absolutely love 1:44 - 1:57 :])

  • not all of it. The first bit, until 00:52 is made up. Then I played Muse - Supermassive Black Hole until 1:42. The 1:44 - 1:57 bit I made up ;]. The rest is then bits of other songs.. weezer, kings of leon. etc. Thanks.

  • Think there is any chance you could maybe send me tabs for the bit 1:44 - 1:57 lmfao

I just love it that much

  • i had the same mustang too.

what do you think about the pickups?

  • I think they sound good. The problem I have with them is that they are really low output. With a tube amp its nice to turn up the guitar and get some crunchy sounds from the tubes, but the low output doesn't push the tubes enough. I get round it with a boost pedal though, and they sound awesome. Just a shame they are low output.

  • Are the pickups in Mustangs lace sensors? You can get a thicker tone out of a Mustang than you can out of a Strat with normal single coils.

  • Nope. They are normal single coils.

  • Are you in a band? o.o

  • Nope, not at the minute.

  • Well you should start one man.

    You are extremely talented.

    I'm a keyboardist in a band.

I do band videos and stuff.

Hey, if you ever need a video done for a song of yours. I can do it. I do extremely high budget videos....for free XD

  • Just got my saltbooster! haven't had the chance to rock it though, Sweet mustang ;)

  • sweet, I love my saltbooster. Use it all the time.

  • very nice buy!!! and even better playing =]

  • where they bought the fender mustang

  • At the moment Fender are making the '65 RI Mustang. These can be bought at most big guitar stores. A much bigger range is available in Japan, and on the 2nd hand market so its worth checking eBay and vintage guitar places.

  • You blow me away!!! i wish i way half as good as you. do you teach yourself??

  • Thanks! I have had classical/fingerpicking guitar lessons since I was young, but the electric/plectrum stuff I just teach and practice myself.

  • you like those colour guitars don't you? lol.

don't blame you though it's really nice ;)

    xx

  • ?? I don't have another this colour. My Strat is surf green.. which I guess is similar. I do like the light blue/green guitars :P

  • well you know, similar.

never been good at colours really ;)

    xx
