@pakl123456 but gohan turned ssj2 earlier in front of grand kai at the tournament. where was his rage then? gohan only need and emotion to ascend into ssj2 and maintain it. it makes no sense for him to be able to transform and then not be able to when he wants thereafter. the lighting is only one sign of ssj2 but dbz has a habit of being inconsistent with that since i sometimes see ssj's with lightning. another way to check is spiky hair. normal ssj lacks the spikes that ssj2 has. thats a fact

@pakl123456 ssj gohan has 2 strands of hair. ssj2 has one and is more spiky. gohan might have unleached more of his hidden power when he was angry but he still turned ssj2. once u fully transform, u can always do it. and the reason gohan and dabura didnt create much energy for buu was because their fight wasnt nearly as physical as goku and vegeta. goku and vegeta went all out and hit eachother ever 2 seconds. gohans fight was hardly that physical. gohan was ssj2, just a weak one.
