Farmers, Soldiers, Even chicken catchers are very important. My dad works for a company called Mountaire He goes to places where they give chickens to you and load them onto the back of the truck The thing is those same people stay out all night catching all the chickens they will need. They dont get to sleep for 1 whole day but like 40 trucks come in and take atleast 40 chickens onto the whole truck And it stinks in the chicken houses! The chickens are only 3 years old Thank U Chicken Catchers.

I'm 17, I live on a small farm and I know it really is a daily struggle, living week to week, wondering if the milk check will cover the price rise for electricity, not knowing what will break down next, or how much it will cost to repair it, praying the harvested crop will pay for the seed it grew from, and praying that the bank will allow you to farm another year. There's times we barely slip by, and times we don't. You just keep going and do what you have to to stay alive out here

Banks got bailouts, the CEO's who failed received a bonus, and now we all get to pay fee's on our accounts that never existed. Yet there is enough revenue to fund 3 wars, foreign aid, and paying enemies to like us, only American's would allow it!

17, engaged to a marine, and a mother of twin girls! ; worked on the farm with my wonderful fiance and family my whole life... life for me has changed alot since i have had my two beautiful daughters but i work for what i have, my parents have no job because everything did move to china but THANK GOD FOR FARMS ! ; I will begin college in the spring of 2012, doing what i can for them until i can find a stable job.

I am 17, single mother, living with my parents! And I do dairy cattle show and judge them for my money. I work on a dairy farm while my daughter is in daycare or do whatever I can for money and I am attempting college in January for a Stock Contractor. It is what you got to do for money and to get by in life.

@TheGuywithecamera No, jobs have been going over the border since the 70's, I worked for a manufacture that spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to move one of the lines to Mexico, only to bring it back due to the power grid not being stable enough, the machines don't like surges. I thought it was hilarious the way they gambled to save money, by blowing it in vain. China has been the other, but wages are increasing, plus shipping, time to open US factories again.

@43Copenhagen People even in the city have a lot to deal with to. We still want to make sure we have money to feed our families and put a roof over our heads. Just because they may not live on a farm doesn't mean they don't go through a lot. Yes I will say a lot of the people in the city don't know what real is but that doesn't mean that we all don't. I am sick and tired of everyone saying people from the city are these bad people. We are not all the same stop thinking we are :/.

I'm from the city, but now live in a small town in the south while my husband serves in military and I actually got married in texas. The way I see it is we're all people. We all worry. Also I'd like to point out california counts for a large percent of farming done And texas and arizona both have very large cities.

Farmers, Soldiers, Even chicken catchers are very important. My dad works for a company called Mountaire He goes to places where they give chickens to you and load them onto the back of the truck The thing is those same people stay out all night catching all the chickens they will need. They dont get to sleep for 1 whole day but like 40 trucks come in and take atleast 40 chickens onto the whole truck And it stinks in the chicken houses! The chickens are only 3 years old Thank U Chicken Catchers.

I'm 17, I live on a small farm and I know it really is a daily struggle, living week to week, wondering if the milk check will cover the price rise for electricity, not knowing what will break down next, or how much it will cost to repair it, praying the harvested crop will pay for the seed it grew from, and praying that the bank will allow you to farm another year. There's times we barely slip by, and times we don't. You just keep going and do what you have to to stay alive out here

I remember watching my grandfather with a tear rollin down his face as his angel slowly slipped away, I knew that it broke his heart, after she left, he was never the same, his health went down hill, I left the Army to come manage his care until he died. That day a tear rolled down my face as I watched a man of steel, a good and decent man who taught me all I know pass away. The 21 gun goodbye just killed me,I still cry at military funerals
