My warrior tank only has 29.5k hp and has tanked some 25 uld. But I have 48% avoidance (dodge & parry) Raid buffed im at 38-39k with cs.

You need good dps on this.

If you fell like the dps is low... You can fix it those ways :

1. Get better DPS'ers.

2. Let one healer make some dps too (very good dps actually, my heal pala did 157k damage under that battle)

-- If he enrange before ur done... Max heal the tanks... u can do 5-10% that way

this guy does hit very hard. my druid has 37000hp raid buffed and around 30000 armour. and he takes me to like 50% with his hatefull strikes. we tried him on heroic 'with me at 42000 hp raid buffed' and he took me to 5% in 2 seconds. he is a very fun fight to tank

With the new defense rating it adds some avoidance but it's still good to get both stam and avoidance (parry, dodge, etc.) I see no excuse to be a tank in naxx under 20-25k health

Spider wing you're probably OK with 20k health, 540 defense, 30% total avoidance, and 20k armor or so... going further, obviously more is better.

That said, unless you're a DK, it's relatively easy to get geared out in blues from regular instances, and some of the easier heroics and hit the cap, have close to 23k health, and 22k armor.

DK's got hosed for tanking itemization IMO.

Killed him on a 25 man, he hits on plate for about 20-25k, and on top of that, he has a mountain of health. Bring potions >.>

Just did this guys last night along with a few others. Even in 10 mans he still hits hard, and we beat him with 5 seconds until enrage.

Bearing in mind were still using some level 70 Tier 6 items and not very well geared for level 80. Tbh he is just a tank'n'spank while watching the enrage, tactics are easy but can be a bit hard since its a gear dependant boss though.

this guy was a BITCH in old naxx. With the gear provided for tanks then, heals needed to be top notch and dps super fast to pull this off, since pre bc this guy hit a tank for 8k non-crit easy

the strat is the MT runs in and he has aggro for the whole fight. He hits the MT for around 75% of his HP every 7 seconds and has a fuck load of HP and must be killed under 7 minutes or everyone dies.

This boss has always been fun its like the brut of wotlk mixed with supremus. Just owned him again today and racked up 3575 healing per second. Highest dps was like 3k.
