@Flightkid9 You are right for the most part. Yes, core count is a physical thing. But in many new AMD CPUs there is the hardware present but cores are locked out. This is the case with the Phenom X2 and X3 cpus, many can be unlocked to quad cores by enabling ACC in BIOS. I am confident the Turion he has cannot be unlocked though.

@RyanADillon yes you can unlock the cores in certain amd dual and triple core cpu's but what I was saying is that you cannot create more cores, what he said was ha wanted to overclock it into a quad core which is completly impossible, had you read the original question you would know that that is what I was saying.

be warned, those gimmicky water cooling coolers are total crap. A good air cooler will actually cool better than the domino coolit or the h50. If you're going watercooling, get a Swiftech H20-220 Apex Ultima kit, or stay with Air.
