OMG, I'm playing the same song on the violin, too! You're pretty much better though, because I quit for two years, and then I just dug through my closet and found my violin, and played this song...Except for 2:35-3:56 I had to play really high notes in like, 10th position instead of first or second, like you. XD

Yes I used the piano/voice sheet music. I play the voice part so there's no need to get a special sheet music for violin. You just have to change some notes because some are too low.

I love to play evanescence on my violin too. It sounds great! This is probably one of the best ev songs to play on the violin. Besides lacrymosa which is actually in the song :)oh and I was wondering why you jumped to an octave higher on the parts like where she sings "this dream"

Oh never mind I figured it out when I tried to play - 'cause duh, stupid me forgot that it's on the g string and you can't exactly go any lower. Hmmmm viola could do it though!

No it's not hard to play! Actually you just have to replace some notes, when it gets too low, um if you ask your teacher he/ she can help you. I played this in my 3rd year of violin so I think you can do it :)I remember it being a bit hard for the rythm but now it's really easy =)

That's because the sound is not coordinated with the image. I can send you the original video, where the sound IS coordinated. I have other things to do than fake it.
